Zum Trost für einen verregneten Tag!

This cloud pattern is one of my favorite skies ....and seems to occur most often in March ...usually in the afternoon.

The "cotton candy clouds" don't last very long ....typically about 30 minutes ...so when l glimpsed this sky out the window, l hurried out to the balcony to get a quick shot .

The horse seemed to be more interested in the early spring grass than watching the cloud pattern :-)))

Sunset on the banks of the Chobe river - Botswana.

An osprey homing in on a fish and beginning his descent. Unfortunately there were trees between me and the water so I was unable to capture the actual grab. He got one though. I love the impressive and specially adapted talons of these beautiful birds of prey. They grab a fish from all directions insuring that even the slipperiest and wiggliest victim cannot escape.

This is the fog in the early morning in Picos de Europa - Asturias.

It was time to leave this little paradise and head for another place. We were so lucky to have parked at this place since we drove here in complete darkness and didn´t have a clue where we were.
