A striking close-up of a whimsical wooden sculpture found in the artistic enclave of Christiania, Copenhagen. Crafted from reclaimed timber, this geometrically stylized face captures the playful spirit and eco-conscious creativity of this self-proclaimed freetown.

A single green flowerpot, perched on a whitewashed Andalusian wall, casts dramatic shadows in the midday sun. A quiet composition celebrating contrast, light, and form—an ode to Mediterranean minimalism.

Take a Walk, Find Your Happy! &

Step Into Joy, One Moment at a Time!

Here’s my entry for the Cabincore wallpaper challenge @spoonflower - a walk through a cheerful forest where the trees sway, the air is fresh, and every step invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. The numbers are part of nature but it’s not about counting them; it’s about counting your joyful moments throughout the day. Life’s pretty great when you stop to notice the little things. This design is all about simplicity, joy, and the energy that comes from appreciating the now. Happiness is in the small moments we gather along the way.

It also makes for the perfect decor for children’s rooms—warm, fun, and filled with positive vibes. 🌿✨

Hope you love it, and I can’t wait to see all other beautiful entries!

Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa, Japan, is a masterpiece of traditional Japanese landscaping and one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan. This captivating photo captures a tea house within the garden, blending rustic architectural elegance with the lush greenery of its surroundings. The tea house, with its weathered wooden facade and latticed windows, is a quintessential example of wabi-sabi aesthetics—finding beauty in imperfection and transience. The roof, adorned with aged tiles, tells stories of seasons past, while the clay walls exhibit a timeless patina that complements the serene environment.

The stone path leading to the entrance, bordered by moss and delicate greenery, invites visitors into a space that seamlessly integrates natural beauty and human craftsmanship. The tea house serves as a peaceful haven, offering a glimpse into the cultural heritage of the Edo period. Every detail, from the carved wooden sign to the carefully placed flower arrangement at the entrance, reflects Japan’s reverence for harmony and simplicity.

Kenrokuen, translating to "Garden of Six Attributes," embodies six essential qualities of a perfect garden: spaciousness, tranquility, artifice, antiquity, water features, and magnificent views. Visitors can explore its winding pathways, koi ponds, and seasonal blooms while soaking in the tranquil ambiance. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, or nature lover, Kenrokuen Garden offers an unforgettabl

The D.T. Suzuki Museum in Kanazawa, Japan, is a tranquil sanctuary that pays homage to Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki, a scholar who profoundly influenced the understanding of Zen Buddhism in the Western world. The museum's Contemplative Space, shown here, embodies the Zen philosophy of mindfulness, balance, and simplicity. Designed by Tadao Ando, one of Japan’s most celebrated architects, this space integrates minimalist architecture with serene natural elements, creating an environment that encourages deep introspection.

The structure’s stark white walls are framed by a shallow reflective pool that mirrors the sky, trees, and architectural lines, blurring the boundaries between nature and the built environment. Ando’s use of clean geometry, concrete, and light invites visitors to focus on the essential—what lies beyond the material. The Contemplative Space is particularly notable for its interplay of openness and enclosure, with a single open doorway offering a framed view of the water and greenery, further emphasizing the Zen principle of awareness in the present moment.

Seasonal shifts enhance the experience, as autumn’s fiery foliage or spring’s cherry blossoms provide a dynamic, living canvas surrounding the museum. Inside, the space remains minimal yet purposeful, with wooden benches inviting quiet reflection. The seamless integration of architecture and landscape transforms this site into more than just a museum; it becomes a meditative retreat.

Situated near Kanazawa’s renowned Kenrokuen Garden, the D.T. Suzuki Museum offers a holistic experience for those seeking to connect with Zen ideals through architecture, history, and nature. Visitors leave with a deeper appreciation for Suzuki’s teachings and the transformative power of simplicity.

This abstract artwork by Duncan Rawlinson features molten orange, deep black, and icy textures flowing together in a striking composition. The organic forms and bold contrasts create a sense of movement, where intense warmth collides with cool tones. With intricate details and fluid transitions, this piece draws the eye and adds depth, making it a compelling addition to modern and contemporary spaces.

The D.T. Suzuki Museum in Kanazawa, Japan, is a serene sanctuary that embodies the profound simplicity of Zen philosophy. Designed by acclaimed architect Yoshio Taniguchi, the museum seamlessly integrates architecture, water, and light to create a meditative experience. The Contemplation Space, shown in this photo, is one of its most captivating features.

This tranquil water garden is bordered by minimalist white stone walls, which serve as a blank canvas for nature’s dynamic artistry. The reflective pool mirrors the lush greenery and cascading willow branches, creating a harmonious balance between the natural and built environment. The carefully placed rectangular aperture in the wall invites introspection, drawing your gaze to infinity. The play of light and shadow, coupled with the soft ripples of the water, encourages a deep connection to the present moment—a hallmark of Zen mindfulness.

The museum is not just an homage to D.T. Suzuki's teachings but a physical manifestation of his ideals. The architecture reflects his belief in quiet simplicity, with every element purposefully crafted to inspire reflection and inner peace. Situated in a peaceful corner of Kanazawa, the museum offers an escape from the modern world, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of stillness.

A visit to the D.T. Suzuki Museum is both a cultural and spiritual experience. It’s a space where architecture and nature converge to evoke a profound sense of calm—a must-see destination for those seeking inspiration or tranquility in Japan.

To create a classic nature theme for the interior of this casino, I-5 Design and Manufacture chose décor elements that were of a natural substance such as wood for the suspended valances, rock for the large columns, and mica for the custom chandeliers. Artificial oak trees were placed at various locations throughout the interior to give the gaming floor an outdoor feel. For the ‘Players Club’ area, dimensional letters were up-lit with LED lighting to create a silhouette on the custom leaf pattered background. Duncan Rawlinson’s artwork blends photography and AI to create an abstract composition rich in visual intrigue. Flowing strokes of blue and green bloom across the surface like mineral formations or petals, traced with radiant gold. The winding central form suggests a river, a vein, or a path—inviting viewers to interpret freely. This piece channels a deep sense of wonder, as if revealing the hidden patterns behind nature or memory itself.
