I was thrilled when this small hawk flew to my fence and let me sit at a table 6 feet from him and take pictures. He turned his head many different ways looking me over but had no fear. I clicked away... I felt this was a juvenile although I questioned if a Kestrel. I would welcome input from Flickr friends! Thanks...

Know the Clarity not great but this male Red Tail was spinning this female in a circle and then he would pull her up and try to feed her... both screaming loudly. Later read this is part of the Mating process. Was incredible to see...very difficult to photograph...no time for tripod or lens switch...just kept clicking... :-) Thought this came close to what we witnessed as he grabbed her by the Talons...WOW Experience!

English, or Scotch, broom (Cytisus scoparius) is a shrub with bright yellow flowers and is often grown for erosion control in warm climates.

First trip away since pandemic. Chose Northern California Mendocino for its gorgeous water and coastline!

Standing on Mt Tamalpais I could see Chimney Rock in the far distant FOG as well as Stinson Beach Lagoon and Bolinas.

Could not resist the depth of this view as I sat in my backyard and watched the sky change by the minute.
