Taken with an all manual focus/aperture vintage 1980 Pentax 135mm. I figured out prettly quickly that the aperture blades do not stop down or move at all. Is stuck wide open at f2.5. I could return or exchange it, but don't have the heart to send this beaut back to lens exile at the used online camera store. Bought it cheap enough so have named the lens A Limited Edition fixed f2.5 135mm Art Lens.

Description
Numerous orange, burgundy, and deep-purple sea stars crowd together within a wet rocky crevice. Their overlapping arms create a dense pattern of five-pointed forms covered with pale granular spines.
Green seaweed, barnacles, small shellfish, and textured stone surround them. Strong direct light produces bright reflections on the wet animals and deep shadows between the rocks.
Discussion
The crowded arrangement conveys the abundance and competition of a rocky intertidal community. Repeated arms link the sea stars into an almost continuous organic pattern, while their contrasting colors make individual animals emerge from the mass. The slick surfaces and hard lighting emphasize the tactile, rugged nature of life exposed between land and sea.
At shoe-sole level, these minuscule yellow blossoms quietly radiate their own kind of sunlight — Common Cat’s-ear (Hypochaeris glabra), often overlooked but never ordinary.
