Obama India Visit: India is the big loser
Right from day one America was in the lead. John Kerry, the US secretary of state set the US Corporate lobby dictated agenda with 5 broader issues — with liability issue in civil nuclear deal to limit US corporate liability to a certain cap on the top followed by defense, trade, renewable energy and climate change.
The US is the clear winner when Modi lead BJP government signed the nuclear deal by removing the unlimited liability clause under pressure from Obama. It was the BJP that brought/joined the No Confidence Motion against Dr.Manmohan Singh's Government on the issue of liability clause and then the infamous cash for vote scam happened in the Parliament. However, as usual BJP under Modi took U - turn on that & decided to create a pool of insurance by the state owned Insurance Companies to be used to pay the compensation and limit the product liability to 5 years. The 50% of Insurance amount will be born by the Government of India & the remaining 50% by the 4 public sector units for both foreign and domestic nuclear corporations. In other words all the liability will be born by the Government of India aka Citizens of India.
Yes the Modi Government have got a breakthrough in avoiding US inspection in the Indian reactors, but that was the issue of second stage & the liability clause couldn't allow UPA Government to reach there. As the suppliers’ liability is already very meager, PM Modi has further diluted the suppliers’ liability clause, to give an escape route to nuclear corporations in case of a nuclear disaster. The hesitation on the part of US Corporations to take the liability in case of a disaster shows that they do not trust the designs of their own reactors. The fact is Fukushima reactors in Japan were supplied by US Corporations and Modi government has put the life of its own citizens under a big risk in case of a nuclear disaster.
I leave it to the people of India to decided that who should be given credit for selling India. Because in the first place when Germany and Japan have promised their citizens to phase out all the nuclear power plants; why India wants to put new nuclear power plants that too with the help of USA that has not put any new nuclear power plant since 1950?
As far as defense technology transfer and co-production in India is concerned all the talks will be the matter for discussion for future historians. It is an open secret that US on this count is very protective and when it does not share technology with its close NATO allies why they will share it with India? The only country that have unlimited access to defense technology and hardware is Israel that too because it practically owns by virtue of financing campaigns of all the politicians across the aisles in Washington and state houses and Senates of America.
By signing (if India has signed) the Communications Interoperability and Security Memorandum of Understanding (CISMOA) India will be allowing access to USA to its entire communication system. USA has a long history of spying on their friends and allies except Israel. The reason is Israel/MOSSAD is better equipped to spy on America; materially and has vast support of prominent Americans in high places as its friends.
Indians feel proud with the presence of US junk/heath hazard industry like McDonald, Starbucks, Coke, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Cargill, Monsanto etc in India for killing the local food and beverage industry, creating low paid jobs and draining foreign exchange with their massive outflow in royalties. Indians also consider it progress with Ford, GM, Honda, Hundai, Toyota, Mercedes, Audi etc assembling cars in India without critical components technology transfer and are responsible for massive out flow of foreign exchange in royalties. PM Modi as CM of Gujarat gave Ford USA Rs 18,000.00 crores to create 2,000 jobs with no clause that they have to transfer critical component technology! No one in India wants to talk about China where Honda and Audi are using 100% local contents. No one wants to criticize Suzuki established in 1984 and still the use of local components have not crossed 50% and still the critical component technology has not been transferred.
Three cheers for lame duck President Obama with lowest domestic approval rating that was not in a position to deliver anything of consequence to India for achieving a big win in India for US corporations. With struggling US economy with 50 mil people on food stamps and high unemployment; US corporations need new markets. What could be a better place to sell their junk industry and have control on food supply and communication than India with 350 million middle class that out numbered 310 million total US population. It may improve Obama's domestic rating and if it goes above 50% it may pave the way for a 3rd Democrat Term in the White House.
On the other hand PM Modi was more busy in projecting himself as the Fashion Icon of the world by wearing a suite with his name "Narendra Damodardas Modi" written in English all over it like the suits of world famous dictator Hosni Mubarak of Egypt with his name written on them. That made Modi a laughing stock in the international media and Washington Post tweeted that "Prime Minister Modi wore a suit that takes personalization to a "ridiculus extreme". According to Reuters Obama also dig in by saying "Move aside, Michelle Obama. The World has a new fashion icon....". May be PM Modi was promoting English against the teachings of his mentors RSS that wants to promote Hindi in India and abroad. Just few months back it was the same PM Modi who insisted on speaking in Hindi at UN. Even that was not enough PM Modi made another statement to the world by wearing a headgear that he is the PM of Gujarat/Gujaratis only not every Indian on the Republic Day of India. PM Modi forgot that the headgear he is wearing is not an article of faith like in Sikhism. Then he is not attending a local function in Gujarat but Republic Day Parade of India that represents 29 states of India and their residents from all faiths and no faith.
Besides selling India to USA, the only other thing PM Modi can claim as his legacy from Obama visit in history books would be that under his government for the first time a US President was the Chief Guest at the Republic Day Parade and it was the first time a US President visited India twice.

Denmark ( Copenhagen ) 20 February 2015 :
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cited the healthy trade ties with which Denmark has been a good cooperation partner for India in the EU. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal who is on a European Tour of Denmark, Italy and Norway landed here in Denmark and immediately presided over a huge gathering of Indians and Bharatiya Janata Party Denmark wing. He thanked everybody for this wonderful reception. Grewal praised the beautiful country of Denmark for providing such great working atmosphere for Indians immigrants who are living happily in the country. It is known that Some 7,000 Indians live in Denmark and the number is growing as Denmark has introduced an attractive Green Card system. Grewal was impressed by the living standards maintained by the country as it is known as the happiest country in the world .Denmark also ranks as having the world's highest social mobility, a high level of income equality, and has one of the world’s highest per capita incomes. For 2013, Denmark is listed 15th on the Human Development Index and 9th on the inequality-adjusted HDI. He added there is so much for India to learn from Denmark and the positives from the society and governance can surely prove good for India too.
India’s relations with Denmark have been frozen since 2011 following the Danish High Court ruling against the extradition of Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. In a rare display of anger, India then run by the UPA goverment then chaired by Ms Sonia Gandhi froze senior official-level contacts with Denmark, and later tightened visa procedures for Danish tourists and businessmen. Grewal questioned the illogical step taken by the UPA goverment and It is timely to reassess the situation and ask whether it meets our vital interests or not.
Grewal added that there are some diplomatic tensions arisen between the two countries because of a single person, discussing this further Grewal questioned the Danish goverment stance on not letting India interrogate Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. He said a terrorist has no religion,he represents no country and the laws are same for all the terrorist all around the world. Grewal urged his Danish counterparts to allow Kim Davies to be interrogated and this will also unveil some other players and institutions involved in puralia arms drop case . He also stressed that the rights of the Kim Davies will not be violated and his integrity won't be harmed till the time he is not proven guilty. He said denmark have taken a step towards reviving diplomatic friendship as India got admitted as a permanent observer to the Arctic Council along with China, Italy, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. This will enable India to participate in developing the resources of the Arctic. The decision required the consent of the ‘Arctic eight’ consisting of Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Russia and the US. Denmark, which could very well have stalled India’s application citing bilateral issues, did not do so. He is hopeful Danish goverment will not disappoint in India's pursuit of Kim Davies also.
Grewal also cited the healthy trade ties with which Denmark has been a good cooperation partner for India in the EU. It has espoused a liberal trading system and is open to service trade liberalisation. Trade has gone up to $1.2 billion in 2011 from $500 million in 2003, with surplus in India’s favour. Trade in services is also substantial, around $1.5 billion in 2012. FDI of $780 million came in 2011 from Denmark. Though the trade between the two countries have been steady over the few years but showing signs of political optimism Grewal announced that the working conditions in India are way better as compared to the previous UPA regime and now the prime ministers visionary goverment have restored the investors confidence in India.
Grewal said that the United Nations also declared June 21 as the World Yoga Day. The decision, taken at the UN General Assembly, is being seen as a proud moment for India. Talking with the media persons after BJP workers meeting here today Grewal stated that our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had urged the world community to celebrate Indian yoga at the international level during his visit to the United Nations in September this year. Grewal told here that India received support of 170 nations and United Nations declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day. He stated that in their speech at the UNGA, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had said, "Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day. Yoga is an invaluable gift of our ancient tradition. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature." He told that around 170 nations supported PM Modi's proposal. In November, European Union President Mr. Herman Van Rompuy told Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the 28 member EU supported his idea for a Yoga Day at the UN. Grewal said that about four months ago, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had appealed to the world community that India's yoga should be celebrated as World Yoga Day. Grewal said that I am happy to inform you that India have received support of 170 nations and the United Nations will declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day". Grewal told that Yoga is the 5000 years old Indian physical, mental and spiritual practice that aims to transform body and mind for good health. In this meeting with the party workers of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and people of Indian origin Grewal firstly thanked everyone for inviting him to this historical country. At this time Shri Ramesh Kumar Bhardwaj Copenhagen, Shri Mangat Ram Sharma, Shri Satish Kumar Joshi Italy, Sr. Jatinderpal Singh, Shri Vaishiv Soni , Shri Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Shri Abneet Dhir Sonu, Shri Aman Sharma and Shri Sushant Bhardwaj we're present.

Samrala - 18 November 2013
BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Parbhari Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that there is no question of rethink on Modi as PM instead in our party BJP. He said that Congress party dirty tricks behind statements rather Congress should clarify its candidate as PM. Grewal said that politics is not dirty but the statements of the leaders are making it. Lambasting over Congress party dirty tricks BJP in a significant statement ruled out any rethink in Gujarat CM Narendra Modi as the party PM Candidate. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal remarks in the wake of reports on two websites which claimed that illegal surveillance of a young woman had been ordered by former minister of state for home Amit Shah at the behest of his SAHEB seen as a veiled reference to Modi. Dismissing the allegations the National Secretary said there is no question in our party BJP of doing a rethink on our PM candidate even if a thousand baseless allegations of this kind are made against Narendra Modi. He said that BJP had on Friday circulated a statement issued by the father of the woman concerned that he had himself approached Modi to seek surveillance. This was because she was in Ahmedabad to tend to her ailing mother and needed to commute at odd hours. Grewal said that BJP's National President Rajnath Singh’s strong support for Modi is significant as he has backed the chief minister for the PM post in the face of opposition from party heavyweights like L K Advani, and this will help Modi against those in the party who have argued that he will be a controversial nominee. The Gujarat CM has maintained a silence on the allegations, which are bound to worsen the bad blood between Congress and the main opposition, with BJP having repeatedly accused the Centre of using CBI to target Modi. Grewal said that our party BJP had already said much earlier that we apprehend that the dirty tricks wing of Congress will make such baseless allegations against Modi as the elections draw near Instead Congress should clarify as to who is its PM candidate.

SGB Children's Home was established under the patronage of Swami Shankera Nand jee Bhuriwale. An experienced social worker in the field of child care, Jagdeep Singh provided vital inputs to bring up this wonderful organization. SGB Children's Home provides long term care to orphan/abandoned children.
Jagdeep Singh worked with SOS Children's Villages before coming to assist in setting up the SGB Children's Home. He played a key role in setting up SOS Children's Villages in Punjab (Rajpura, for children affected by a long spell of social disturbance in Punjab) and in Gujarat (for children rendered homeless by a devastating earthquake in January 2001). The ideology of the SGB Children's Home is based on a sacred principle that every child has right to live and grow in a family. A group of 7-8 children live under care of a dedicated woman who has devoted her life for the cause of needy children. A major part of the organization work is shared by Bibi Jasbir Kaur, Mr. Kuldip Singh and Ms. Ramanjot Kaur.
SGB International Organization, the parent institution of the SGB Children's Home is a recognized and authorized agency by the State and Central governments forn both In-country and inter-country adoption of children.
This organization also runs a grade 12 level school, St. Kabir Academy, recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Focus of this school is primarily to provide education to rural children who would otherwise find difficult to get access to quality education.
