I have been looking at old photographs recently as I'm stopping at home quite a bit at present. This one made me smile and lets face it with what's happening in the world we all need to smile a bit more. I thought I would share it with you.
What makes me smile about the photograph is the little girl who nearly pulls her nana off her feet when she spots the doughnut stall just off shot to the left. I couldn't have timed this shot any better if I had tried but to be honest I was just trying to capture the fairground stall.
This photograph was taken on the Newcastle town moor last year. There's a travelling fair that comes each year, in June, called the hoppings.
