Karachi Ijtima InshaAllah 4 February 2014 , Tuesday kay din Namaz e Asar say Gulshan e Bihar Orangi Town, Karachi may Suroo ho raha hay , jo InshaAllah 6 February 2014 , Thursday ki Subah Ijtimai Dua kay sath ikhtitam pazeer hoga.
Ap sab say derkhuwast hay kay is ijtima may shirkat farmaye or Allah or us kay Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) kay bataye huway rastay per chalnay ki koshish kijyay.
Insan ki duniya or Akhirat ki kamyabi pooray kay pooray Deen may hay or Deen zindage may mehnat say ata hay . Isi Deen ko seekhnay or Sikhanay kay liyay poorie Duniya may Tableeg ka kam jari hay , Isi Tableeg ki mehnat kay zariyay Musalmano ko jo kay Allah or us kay Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) ki bataye huwee zindagee say door hotay chalay ja rahay hay , un hay Allah or Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) kay bataye huway rastay per chalnay kay liyay razi kiiya jata hay or Non muslims ko Musalman kernay kay liyay mehnat ki jate hay takay woh Jahanum ki Aag say bach ker Jannat may janay walay ban jaye .
Allah is ijtima ko sath khairiyat kay sath honay ki toufeeq ata farmaye (Ameen) or Allah is ijtima ki or is Ijtima may shirkat kernay walo ki hifazat farmaye or un kay liyay or kay Ghar walo kay liyay Khair o Barkat or Hidayat ka zarya banaye (Ameen) or Allah is ijtima ko tamam Alam kay musalmano kay liyay Hidayat kaa zarya banaye (Ameen) or Allah is ijtima ki barkat say Karachi may aman o aman qaim farmaye (Ameen)
NAMAZ-E-IMAM-E-ZAMANA (ATFS)
It is composed of 2 Rak'ats, each with Surat al Fateha, until one reaches verse: 5 : "Iyyaka naa'budu wa iyyaka nasta'een", then one repeats this verse 100 times, then completes the Surah. After Surat al Fateha, Surat al Ikhlas is recited once.
The second Rak'ah is done in the same manner.
After the namaz Dua-e-Faraj(Elaahi azomal bala)is recited.
Then Ziyarate Imam-e-Asr (atfs).
Best time for this namaz is SHAB-E-JUMA.

I shoot it barefeet ,,and the Bandra cops hassle us every eid , preventing us from shooting at the Bandra Skywalk.. and there are veteran photo journalists we have been shooting the namaz from the inception of the skywalk.with Press card and identification yet they hassle us ,,
I took permission from DCP Sanjay Kadam sab..a thorough gentleman and a humble officer ,,
I shot the namaz and have just returned home ,,all my three grandkids are at the home of their maternal grandparents ,,

There was strict security at the Bandra skywalk when I reached here barefeet at the Bandra skywalk.. the only skywalk that has honed me as a photographer and a poet of sorts ..most of the drug addict community that inhabits this stretch to my ire call me photo wale uncle ,, nod my head nonchalantly ,,,in the late evenings the skywalk becomes lovers nook our own..Ek Bar Ana Bandra Town..
The homeless sleep here because the only police security on the skywalk is during the eid namaz .. so well I reached here with my new dog tag.. that now reads International Press Photographer ..the bottom line is International Blogger but in very tiny font as even Press guys are not yet aware of the true meaning definition of a blogger ,unlike them we just dont die after we are published .. we live on forever...our blogs do not reach the bhangarwalas shop at the end of the month.

I met other friends from the press like Rafiq Maqbool and missed the usual Facebook crowd of photographers .. I shoot the namaz and most religious events barefeet and for the first time shot all this with a glass piece stuck in my feet that I think I extricated at home after the shoot. I am still not sure as I am still limping..
This time the beggars were fewer , and I felt sad for them perhaps they had gone to other venues .. or at Bandra Reclamation where there is arrangement for ladies separately ..I owe my loyalty to the Bandra Station street namaz being a prolific street photographer ,,,and today as a tribute to Mr Raj Kumar Santoshi and Shahid Kapoor I wore the same dress that I wore for my short cameo in Phata Poster Nikla Hero..My fan following is among beggars and those that watch movies in the first row.. luckily they remember me more than the hero too.. because I am a Bandra guy.. a Bandra blogger and a Bandra Manoos.
And please note I shoot a story board so my Eid namaz pictures begin with garbage littered on the roads that lead to the namaz site Municipality only cares for one Religion the Religion of Kadak Note Than Than Gopal..and Nagad Narayan..

I would have missed shooting this ritual that I shoot every year , as I was in pain all night and slept badly , a phone call woke me up and I rushed to shoot the Bandra Staion Namaz.. just in time as it started , this year I shot from ground level using the skywalk in the end..

Today is the first Idd of my one month old grand daughter Nerjis Asif Shakir , she is being dressed up in Ramzan Idd finery as I write this..
The Bandra Station Road Namaz is very special as it it is recited on a crowded station road ,.Muslims head bowed in prayers invoking Allah for his Bounty His Munificence and Peace at all costs ..
Muslims in Mumbai are mature and live peacefully as Indians with the rest of the populace..

Along with this lined up on all sides of the roads are those Muslims that wont celebrate Idd .. they are the Beggars for them Idd means working overtime .. and from last years Idd to this years Idd and perhaps next years Idd their struggle will continue..
Muslims of this category lowest down the order cant escape their cosmic fate.
As a poet I always felt there is only two major sects in Islam the rich and the very Poor.. Allah Ho Akbar Allah be Praised .
Maybe one day Anna Hazares fight his Jan Lok Pal Bill might add silver to a very dark cloud and for the Muslim community it would be a major help, because I feel for the faults of a few the entire community should not be unnecessarily castigated or hounded ..
One thing is important the bomb that kills - kills only Indians .. be it Hindu Muslim Sikh or Isai we all are victims of fate and the cruelty of time.
