The other new EMD SW1001 #2 is working the west end of the Northwestern Steel and Wire plant as the C&NW Sterling switcher passes by.

Brand new SW1001 #3 passes by the home made gantry crane that is having a wheel set removed/replaced.

Note the trucks that are used under the crane, they came from a diesel that the Northwestern Steel and Wire plant has scrapped.

My neighbor, not a big fan of snakes, came across this one while gardening. She consulted me for an ID. After a few frames, it zoomed off to the nearby lake.
