#ClosingBell : #Equity benchmark indices ended the session on a very strong note, with the Sensex ending 320 points higher and the Nifty ended just a tad below 9900. The #Sensex ended up 321.86 points at 31770.89, while the #Nifty ended higher by 103.15 points at 9897.30. The market breadth was positive, but a tad narrow as 1,638 shares advanced against a decline of 946 shares, while 118 shares were unchanged. Cipla, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra gained the most on both indices, while NTPC, Asian Paints and Power Grid were the top losers.

Benchmark indices ended the session on a weaker note as the Street closed at the day’s low points post RBI policy. The #Sensex was down 98.43 points at 32476.74, while the #Nifty was down 33.15 points at 10081.50. The market breadth was negative as 1048 shares advanced against a decline of 1601 shares, while 172 shares were unchanged. NTPC, Adani Ports and Ambuja Cements gained the most on both indices, while BHEL, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Indiabulls Housing were the top losers.
Opening Bell : After a firm opening of September Future Option (F&O) series, the Equity Market seems to be in resting mood now. The Sensex is down 4.97 points at 27830.94, and the Nifty 6.75 points at 8585.45. About 1044 shares have advanced, 767 shares declined, and 107 shares are unchanged. Tata Motors, Cipla, M&M, Hero MotoCorp and NTPC are Gainers while Adani Ports, Wipro, L&T, Asian Paints and ONGC are Losers in the Sensex. #Closing Bell: Benchmark indices fell for the sixth consecutive session with the #Sensex losing 65.60 points to 26242.38. The #Nifty managed to hold 8050 level, falling 21.10 points to 8061.30. About 1400 shares declined against 1176 advancing shares on the BSE. Maruti Suzuki, Lupin, NTPC, M&M, ONGC, UltraTech Cement, Hindalco and Bank of Baroda gained 1-1.5 percent while Sun Pharma, ITC, TCS, Axis Bank, L&T, Bharti Infratel, Idea Cellular and Ambuja Cements fell 1-3 percent.
