Noah was in the first stages of anesthesia for his dental cleaning today when the vet realized the generator in her van was on the blink so the procedure was canceled. (We use a mobile vet who does all procedures in the house or in the driveway). Poor Noah staggered back to the house and collapsed in the middle of the kitchen floor out cold like a drunken sailor.
"As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man" - Matthew 24:37-39.

Noah’s Ark is a new theme park in Ma Wan, Hong Kong. The park, with a name associated with the bible story of Noah, intended to promote family values and teach love, social harmony and care for the environment.
How would you like a big smorgasbord feast on Noah’s Ark? Well you could have, but the Noah’s Ark restaurant has been closed for some years now. Noah’s animals still guard this roadside wonder! It’s located on I-70 in St. Charles, MO. St. Charles, MO 2004.
Noah Bohrer, founder of Noah's Potato Chip Co., dies at age of 93
Noah Bohrer, who founded Noah's Potato Chip Co. in Alexandria, has died at the age of 93.
Known as "Mr. Noah," Bohrer was a longtime volunteer for many community activities, including projects with the VFW and American Legion. He also volunteered at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pineville.
He died Thursday in his Alexandria residence.
Noah's Potato Chip Co., founded in the mid-1940s, manufactured potato chips and other products for 60 years.
In 1968, Bohrer was featured in the trade magazine Baked and Snack Foods Marketer under the theme "Children Are His Best Friends." The article talked about how 500 to 600 children would tour his plant on Lee Street each week, and that helped his business. Each child was given a paper bag full of gifts.
In a 1968 interview with The Town Talk, Bohrer said, "Twenty-five years ago, my wife and I had a small cafe not as big as my office is now. One afternoon I made some potato chips out of pigskins, and they went over real big with our cafe customers.
"Then one day I had some left over, so I went to the five and ten cent store, bought some bags and fill them and decided to sell to other cafes. My first efforts went so well, I bought a Model-A Ford and added potato chips and started out to sell them. My wife worked with me in the kitchen of our little cafe."
Services for Bohrer will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with Dr. Meyer Kaplan officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pineville.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday with Monsignor Steve Testa officiating.
He was a member of B'nai Israel Synagogue and was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the Exchange Club, the VFW, the American Legion, AmVets and several other clubs.
Survivors include two sons, Heyman Bohrer and Stanley Bohrer, both of Alexandria; one daughter, Barbara Bohrer Blalock of Fifth Ward; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be sent to B'nai Israel Synagogue or the American Cancer Society or to your favorite organization.
