National Military Museum Soesterberg

Nottingham Community Transport (CT4N) electric bus 978 (LJ16 NMZ) in store at the CT4N compound at the Nottingham Queens Drive Park and Ride site, 30th September 2019.

Nottingham City Council have discontinued the dedicated bus services serving the Queens Drive and Racecourse Park and Ride sites and replaced them with additional stops on passing Nottingham City Transport routes. This has had a major impact on the thirteen Chinese built BYD K9UR B35F fully electric integral buses operated by CT4N which entered service in August 2016 for the dedicated Park and Ride services.

Eight of the thirteen vehicles appear to be in store at the CT4N compound at the Nottingham Queens Drive Park and Ride site. Two further vehicles of the thirteen strong fleet where also present and appear to be available for use, 987 (LJ16 NNC) recently repainted red and branded for an East Midlands Gateway service and one which I failed to note its identity carrying a label “Gateway Spare”
