One more look at the NJ DOT-era which was recreated in Boonton during the URHS open house event. The rain only helped to make both units appear even shinier. The missing window on 3372's cab door is obvious from this angle.

But look what I find. The ugliest web in NJ. Thanks to Clancy Pant's dad, I now know thia is a catepillar nest.
My neighbor brought over a rare find for me to see.. She thinks it's an Asian moth which she said is very rare in NJ.. Anyone out there know?

Bei der Station Elizabeth am North East Corridor unweit von New York kann man hinter dem Haltepunkt auf einem Parkhaus Stellung beziehen. Wir nutzten diese Stelle um bei einem NewYork Besuch "kurz" an der Strecke vorbei zu schauen. Ein Amtrak Acela Express fährt Südwärts. Hinten ist bereits eine AEM-7 mit dem Amtrak Zug nach New Orleans.
