This Common Frog, just surfaced, with weed wrapped over his head, which looks like a precision made mask. The golden glow to the water, was caused by a sand bank, in the background. Taken on a dull day in Norfolk.

Lst summer, weather was oppressive heat and I found a tiny baby mantis on my window. I decided to put regularly big ice cubes in order to provide fresh water. A few months after, this ninja mantis was watching me at the same place, I hope it was the same one...
I watched with some amusement as the Pink-eared Ducks' antics unfolded. This particular scene involved them pushing one of the intruders under the water.

…. Ninja because they’ve been ‘Air-fried’ in the Ninja today by Jill! Whilst I was busy in the workshop she had her first play with Ninja - she really loves Ginger Biscuits and happened to have a Gingerbread Man cutter measuring just 2¾” high - my lucky day too I thought!! Happy Macro Monday folks because today's theme is “Biscuit”. If anyone is interested they cooked in just 6 minutes!! Alan:-)
