This July I spent a week on a bicycle trip along the Werra river (Germany) from Meiningen (Thuringia) to Hann.Münden (Lower Saxony)
Highly recommended if you like beautiful, small towns and lovely landscapes.
This was my first try at star photography. I was at a really dark location with my sister. We could hear dogs barking and many strange noises coming from bushes. Darkness plays tricks with your mind. It was also very windy and i was praying the tripod doesn't fall to the ground with the camera on it. When i thought things couldn't get any worse, when we got there my sister stayed in the car, refusing to get out and screaming at me ''Are you done?'', ''When are you going to finish?''. So i was all alone in the dark staring at the sky while a crazy psychopath was yelling. Other than that, it was a good night...
La Pyramide du Louvre est une pyramide de verre et de métal, située au milieu de la cour Napoléon du Musée du Louvre à Paris, où se situe le hall d’accueil.
La pyramide a été conçue par l'architecte sino-américain Ieoh Ming Pei. La structure, qui a été entièrement construite de métal, s'élève à 21,64 mètres sur une base carrée de 35,42 mètres de côté. La pyramide est composée de 603 losanges et 70 triangles en verre. Elle a été inaugurée le 30 mars 1989 . Elle est la première grande construction à avoir été réalisée en verre feuilleté.
The Pyramid of the Louvre is a pyramid of glass and metal, located in the middle of the Napoleon court of the Louvre Museum in Paris, where the lobby is located.
The pyramid was designed by the Sino-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei. The structure, which was entirely built of metal, amounts to 21.64 meters on a square base of 35.42 meters of side. The pyramid is composed of 603 rhombuses and 70 glass triangles. It was inaugurated on 30 March 1989. It is the first large construction to have been made of laminated glass.

The square is the Regents plaza, where several companies have offices - Facebook lives in the tall building between the red lights. (This I did not know when I took the photo, I just liked the modern architecture in the dark and the rain.)
