The last one of these. I spent 10 minutes shooting around this roundabout in the village next to ours. I went there in the fog just because it had recently had a few LED street lights installed...
Another attempt, this time with manual lens. Spent about 5 minutes by that bush. I took about 80 shots, got 6 keepers out of it, pretty happy with it but the bees are still to small to me, need better magnification for sure.
Cley was once one of the busiest ports in England, where grain, malt, fish, spices, coal, cloth, barley and oats were exported or imported. The many Flemish gables in the town are a reminder of trade with the Low Countries. But despite its name, Cley has not been "next the sea" since the 17th century, due to land reclamation. Some of the buildings that once lined the quay remain, notably Cley Windmill, which is Grade II*-listed and, according to Wikipedia, dates from 1819. This is one of the most famous landmarks on the North Norfolk coast. These days it provides holiday accommodation.
The marshes around Cley are internationally important for their populations of rare breeding and visiting birds. Cley Marshes bird reserve has been in the care of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust since 1926, making it the oldest county Wildlife Trust reserve in Britain. The village of Cley lies within the Norfolk Coast AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the North Norfolk Heritage Coast.

I got invited to take photos at the movie premiere of Aimuldir – The Soul of a Burkitshi, a heart warming story of a small girl who became an eagle huntress in Mongolia. The short film by director Oliver Klink and producer Jackson Nichols was screened at an art gallery in Palo Alto, California. Returning to the car after the event, Oliver and Jackson discussed the feedback they got on the film.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

TRC 2007 starts its journey to the Union Pacific Interchange at Searles, California with 30 loads of Potash.
Sorry for so many photos, but definitely found a lone migrating cackling goose at our park. Much smaller than a Canada goose, maybe 1/2 size or so, steep forehead, short beak. So cool to see! Not sure if same one I saw before I wasn't sure about, but this is definitely one. First time to see one there in all the years we've been there. May have been some but never noticed. :) Going back to see if still there since these were in very darkish overcast light, exposure and detail not very good.
UPDATE: Went back the next day, which was sunny, but it had migrated on, glad to see it the one day it was there. :)
