At Hopewell Rocks the formations consist of red-brown sedimentary conglomerate, sandstone, and minor mudstone rock. We were lucky to see this area at both high and low tide. According to National Ocean Services the highest tides in the world can be found here at the Bay of Fundy which separates New Brunswick from Nova Scotia. I posted with people in the picture so that you can see how tall the formations are.
Storm clouds drift as Amtrak's California Zephyr pulls through Spring Glen the evening of June 4, 2021. In less than five minutes, train No. 5 will be stopped at the former Rio Grande depot in Helper.

It was so much fun watching these baby Mountain Bluebirds peering out of the nest waiting for their 'next meal', but when the food came there was only room for two of the babies to get fed....I'm sure they took turns...:)
A juvenile black headed grosbeak ruffles its feathers, saw about one dozen on the walk , most being juveniles
