E alla fine arriva.....è come un appuntamento al quale non si può mancare, pronti e via, vestito buono, gel nei capelli, scarpe lucide, barba ben rasata, cappottino delle grandi occasioni....
Ma ne vale la pena?
No perchè amici miei....non è per rompere sempre le uova nel paniere e le palle a chi legge, ne vale la pena salutare quest'anno e accogliere quello nuovo?
Io non ne sono tanto sicuro, abbiamo davanti un anno che non promette nulla di buono e con la Terza Intifada alle porte non saranno rose e fiori nemmeno sotto il profilo della pace nel mondo!
Ci spero tanto, ma la ragione mi da conttro, faccio due calcoli e deduco che le borse si sono dimezzate, le banche non si fidano piu', gli stipendi sono praticamente fermi, le materie prime non soddisfano più un mercato che è diventato asmatico, le classi dirigenti si scannano ogni giorno per questioni da cortile come vecchie comari, una Tangentopoli in corso sebbene tutti negano ma sappiamo bene che non è mai finita.
Continuo?
Previsioni di crescita pari a 0, previsioni di occupazione nulle anzi si prevedono perdite consistenti di posti di lavoro.
Porto sfiga? Forse ma non lo faccio mica apposta, leggo e decifro i numeri.
Solo una cosa mi farà stappare la bottiglia della fine d'anno:
la consapevolezza che nonostante tutto, siamo grandi noi piccoli, siamo forti noi deboli, siamo eccezionali noi normali, sappiamo reagire noi calpestati, sappiamo alzare la testa noi legnati, sappiamo sorridere noi bistrattati, sappiamo guardare avanti noi delusi, sappiamo amare noi traditi.
Siamo fatti di altra pasta, noi che lavoriamo e che sudiamo il pane quaotidiano, sappiamo vedere un sole anche dove c'eè nebbia e buio pesto, e sappaiamo che domani è SEMPRE un altro giorno.....e chiudo l'anno con ......
FRANCAMENTE ME NE INFISCHIO!

Il 2017 è agli sgoccioli ed ormai è tempo di bilanci.
A conti fatti la nascita del nipotino Alessandro ha illuminato questi ultimi sei mesi in modo fantastico.
Tutte le volte che ci è possibile si va su da nostra figlia Valentina e trascorriamo delle ore davvero felici.
Mi auguro che il 2018 possa essere altrettanto generoso anche con tutti gli amici che con pazienza mi seguono su Flickr.

Entro solo para saludaros, os cuelgo una sorpresa que nos encontramos, unos fuegos artificiales alucinantes en la orilla del mar que pudimos disfrutar desde la casa de Saki y Peri..en esta imagen podéis ver a nuestra amiga Lore observando desde el jardín...346 fotos entre fiesta atardeceres y amaneceres...ya iré subiendo poco a poco....jejeje..

I only enter for say hello, I hang a surprise to you that we were, hallucinating fireworks in the border of the sea that we could enjoy from the house of Saki and Peri....in this image you can see our friend Lore observing from the garden… 346 photos between celebration dusks and dawns… already I will be raising little by little….jejeje....

Description: Here’s a Vertorama that I shot and processed more than a month and a half ago now!! I’m not too crazy about this one, but it’s been in my “ready” folder for weeks already… and if I don’t post it today, I probably never will! :)
Heh heh… the real reason why I’m posting oldies… is because I don’t have any newies to post!! I’ve recently been very involved with the setting up of the South African section of the FreePhotoGuides Project… a Wikipedia-like project for information on great photo locations, written by photographers for photographers. If you haven’t already heard of this project, then please do yourself a favour and check it out now.
Although I will do my best to visit your streams, and to view and comment on all your latest photographs, I’m afraid that for the next couple of weeks… I’ll probably be spending a lot less time on Flickr than I’d like to!

New Year's eve revelry Philippine style =) Every year on new year's eve millions of pesos worth of fire crackers are used by private citizens to usher in the new year. I've long since stopped ( almost 16 years and counting) buying fire crackers and instead is content to watch my neighbors burn their money =) Didn't get too shoot much, just stood with my family and watched. HAppy New Year everyone and may God's blessings be upon you all =)
