Forecast looked good so we decided to try Steetley. On the way the weather app changed and the forecast didn't look so great.
After a fair amount of deliberating if we should try Flamborough or Scarborough we finally decided to stick with the original plan.
What a fantastic place. It will be a sad loss to this coastline once it's gone. The cemetery above the beach has to be the creepiest graveyard I've ever seen!
It was a rainy day meaning the falls would be flowing. They were. I was quite wet and so was my camera, but worth the conditions for a shot like this.
I might add that I have a new neutral density filter with which adding to my HDR's will add even more to my shots.
This was the second stop. A bit of a walk in..... and yes quite a bit of rain. But so worth the time.

Ah, peace and serenity, not a soul around but mine. I love this long-exposure on water stuff. I dug out my neutral density filter to really slow it down, though it was a bit cloudy, which is mostly a requirement.

The lower falls at Aysgarth. Not many times in the year when you can get this image but i'm not one to miss an opportunity! Wish i could do this all day every day. It can be so rewarding and relaxing at the same time. Iso 50 at f/16 and 8 secs. Thanks for viewing. Have a great weekend. :0)
