Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and the Student Bar Association co-sponsored a two hour event on Networking Essentials for Business on the Harrisburg campus on Monday, March 28th.

In spite of trying to take a day off from job hunting (the kids were home from school) I did a lot of networking, contacting references, and here, a conference call for a possible consulting group forming.
Still checking out and getting used to the SX-70, I'm starting to really love it and consider doing the full conversion. As you'll see, I sometimes forget to adjust the light/dark with the current "hack" and the film is precious!

Madrid Network y Renault Nissan Consulting clausuran con éxito las jornadas de Lean
Bajo el titulo Lean Leadership tuvo lugar en la sede de Renault Nissan Consulting la última de las ocho jornadas de la I Edición de los Talleres para la Difusión y Promoción de la Metodología Lean, organizadas por Madrid Network y patrocinadas por Renault Group. Uno de los servicios ofrecidos a la Pyme industrial madrileña dentro de la Plataforma para el crecimiento de la Pyme Industrial.
A lo largo de las ocho sesiones hemos pasado por talleres Lean Start up, Lean Services, Lean manufacturing, Lean Logistic, entre otros. Esta sesión contó con un estupendo broche final y ponente cuya capacidad de liderazgo tiene ya una marcada trayectoria.

Lo que marca la diferencia de las organizaciones es sin duda como se lideran, Carisma. capacidad de trasformación y autenticidad tiene que ser uno de los principales atributos. El papel del nuevo líder destacó es incorporar a los millennials
Domingo Ureña, ex Ceo de Airbus señaló que un líder se hace, no se nace líder. Tiene que ser un ejemplo en el trabajo, amar lo que esté haciendo sin importarle compartir. Otro de los atributos del líder es que tiene que ser un buen comunicador y trasmitir pasión, gestionar los objetivos y gestionar las personas. Escuchar es la clave
María Jesús Martín de Gas Natural Fenosa hizo hincapié en las ventajas de aplicar la metodología lean en las organizaciones. Lean es un camino lleno de obstáculos necesarios para hacer que las cosas fluyan. Para conseguir resultados hay que tener una gran resistencia a la frustración e intentar conseguir mejoras. Hay que incidir especialmente en la comunicación, si las cosas no se comunican no crecen
Dionisio Huellin, Capitán de Navío del cuerpo General de la Armada, Nos explicó el modelo de liderazgo de la Armada Española, enseñó la diferencia entre mando y líder. La condición ideal es que el mando y el líder sean el mismo. El liderazgo de la Armada hoy está sustentado en el convencimiento y en la confianza mutua, es un estilo de mando cercano. Lo que llaman Liderazgo Transformacional “yo te oriento y tú te comprometes”
Victor Elviro, cerró la sesión de intervenciones haciendo un balance de estos cursos en los que han participado más de 240 asistentes, 21 ponentes y 8 nuevos proyectos financiados.
La clausura de la jornada corrió a cargo de Bernardino Sanz Berzal, Director General de Economía del Ayuntamiento y de Sector Público, Área de gobierno de Economía y Hacienda del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, quien explicó la estrategia Industrial del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, donde existen 20 millones de metros cuadrados de suelo industrial disponible. Se está elaborando un catálogo actualizado para saber a que se dedican de verdad las industrias implantadas en Madrid. Así mismo destacó el papel del vivero industrial de Vicálvaro y que a partir de septiembre se pondrán en marcha otras líneas de ayuda a la industria madrileña que complementarán las del Ministerio de Economía y del Gobierno regional.
Gema Sanz, la responsable de Desarrollo de Negocio de Madrid Network destacó el éxito de estas jornadas donde ha habido un alto nivel de participación y como la Comunidad de Madrid si bien tiene un PIB industrial en torno al 10% sí cuenta con la industria más productiva de toda España.
En esta última sesión han participado más de 60 empresas y en breve presentaremos desde Madrid Network en colaboración con Renault Nissan Consulting una nueva programación dirigida a esas más de 16.000 industrias madrileñas y que ayuden su transición a la industria 4.0.

About an hour after I took this picture, a storm blew through, with thunder, lightning, and hail. The rest of the day continued with hours of brilliant blue skies followed by dark and driving rains.
