Over the past 15 years, many countries across Africa have experienced significant economic growth. However, tremendous challenges and opportunities remain. How can CGI members create an environment for more inclusive economic growth, while ensuring sustainable resource management?
A number of subtopics will be explored, including: Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly a CGI Action Network), Rwanda, sub-Saharan Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, West Africa, energy, wildlife, urbanization, health, and smallholder farmers.
The 2016 Annual Meeting will feature the CGI IDEA EXCHANGE. This unique series of facilitated networking sessions will offer members the opportunity to:
• Easily connect with other members of the CGI community who share similar professional interests in smaller groups.
• Exchange insight, information, and ideas—as well as lay the groundwork for further conversations and member-driven action beyond the Annual Meeting.

Coax cable and new CAT 5e cables feed into basement via chase that leads up to attic. The chase is original to house; apparently it was originally added to allow future expansion of HVAC to basement area.

What happens when seperate networks collide? Personal/Friends + Friends + Professional networks often do not share the same value systems.
When broadcasting social messages and life-streams, it is important for systems to separate between different communication levels in order to provide the correct groups with the correct information.
If this is not followed, it becomes a liability for the user. The case of Facebook is probably the foremost case study here.

In the rural surroundings of Chorley are the West Pennine moors with a number of small villages located in between the towns of Chorley, Horwich and Bolton. Part of the Network Chorley group of services were routed to serve these villages and services 3/3A were introduced partially replacing an old established service 312 operated by the erstwhile Ribble Motor Services between Chorley, Rivington and Horwich. However, as a result of the latest changes servivce 3 which served these rural areas has been withdrawn leaving these villages without a bus service. Optare Solo 47328 PX06FXY is seen here at the top of Babylon Lane at The Bay Horse Public House in the delightfully named village of Heath Charnock operating a return service 3A from Blackrod and Adlington to Chorley.
This is Network Rail's high output ballast cleaner (HOBC) set passing Wylam in the Tyne Valley. Photographed on 05 August. As it is around 1 mile long I would have preferred a better more distant viewpoint.
