Simplicity is the best way to express yourself.

Who you are, for what you are.

Where being alive is struggle, showing off is luxury there. Should realise the difference between necessity and luxury

Something a little different..!! A little insight into my life away from Flickr... I love nature and I love to travel.. I bumped into this lovely female Brown Bear deep in the wilds of Finland on the Russian Border.. (June 2017)

"I do not wonder at a snowflake,

a shell,

a summer landscape,

or the glory of the stars;

but at the necessity of beauty under which the universe lies."

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

In 1994, at the initiative of priest Adrian Niculcea, the parish of the Descent of the Holy Spirit "Titan Park" was founded.

Built between 1994 and 1996, the place of worship was a necessity for believers in the area.

The church began to be built in 1994, in a neighborhood of huge apartment buildings in Bucharest, Titan.

It was a kind of dormitory neighborhood during the communist era, and when this church appeared, there was only one newly built church, the rest of the churches were very far from each other.

It was inaugurated in 1996, it is made of wood, in the Maramures style, being located in a park and is a true architectural and spiritual landmark of the neighborhood.

It is 45 meters high, and the inauguration was attended by a lot of people happy that this church appeared in their neighborhood.

The body of the church is made of fir beams covered with planks laid in a shingled pattern, inside and out.

The church's temple is also made of wood. The church is surrounded, on the outside, by a series of icons painted on glass.

These are of a style similar to Maramures painting.

And I need only step outside the door to hear the night breeze finding its way through the grasses and the leaves letting go autumn’s branches. For reasons I can’t explain, such things are important to see and hear; and not just once...but as a daily constant, as necessary as my pulse.

An unpleasant necessity followed by Western Railway to follow priority… seen here is powerful passenger fleet locomotive Tughlakabad (TKD) WAP-7i # 30396 with India’s Fastest Garib Rath, Bandra-Nizamuddin 12909 Garib Rath Express waiting in loop line to give clearance to India’s Fastest Rajdhani, so called King of Western Railway, 12951 Mumbai Rajdhani Express.

Unexpected beauty out of repetitive necessity.

Not really a variant, but a USMC field necessity. Needing immediate arty on the beach, the Marines decided to roll a 105 up into a LVT-4, strap it down, and send it in with the assault troops. Was a REALLY tight fit for my 105. Added an inner ramp and a few studs to hold it in place. Credit still goes to PA for his original LVT. A few more LVTs rendering now, this time a few Tommies. :)

Happy Friday!

I meant to post a fence shot today because I haven't played in so long, but I don't have my external drive with me :-(

Instead posting one of my favorite IG postings from this week.

Taken and processed on iPhone.

Enjoy your Friday!

Because we all share

this small planet earth,

we have to learn

to live in harmony and peace

with each-other and with nature,

this is not just dream,

but a NECESSITY..

Look for the bare necessities

The simple bare necessities

Forget about your worries and your strife

I mean the bare necessities

Old Mother Nature's recipes

That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam

I couldn't be fonder of my big home

The bees are buzzin' in the tree

To make some honey just for me

When you look under the rocks and plants

And take a glance at the fancy ants

Then maybe try a few

The bare necessities of life will come to you

They'll come to you!

"A work of art is good if it has arisen out of necessity."

(From "Letters to a Young Poet" (1934) by Rainer Maria Rilke)

Anand is wearing a kantha silk scarf made with a hand embroidery.

This artcraft is done by ladies involved in several workshops that we have settled with GURIA, a Human Rights organisation fighting against the sexual exploitation of women and children, particularly those forced into prostitution and trafficking.

Each scarf is unique and made in sarees provided by women in Benaras who take this opportunity to get rid of pieces that they brought in order to celebrate happy moments, festivals or parties. Those accessories carry traces of happiness in their yarns...

Our model shows his body for the purpose of this brotherhood and happiness chain as this is a way to catch the attention on this fight for Human Rights and human dignity.
