Simon asked me to build some CS for what I would later learn was his moonbase. This is the fighter I came up with. I took a page out of 4est's book and rebuilt one of my older MOCs in CS minifigure scale. Only spent about 4 hours on this.

Q: What do you get if you strip the engines from a galaxy-class super cruiser and strap them to the sides of a single pilot fighter?

A: This.

Primarily used for planetside racing tournaments, and more engine than ship, what Shorty lacks in size she more than makes up for in raw power.

No more delays! I’m not quite done with it, but here’s my updated take on the iconic Galaxy Explorer. It has a gear operated landing system, which I will post pictures of later. Hope you enjoy!

About the build

Being a huge fan of the "Blake and Mortimer" adventures, I already built a classic Chronoscaphe, the same that appeared in the comic book "The Time Trap" by E.P. Jacobs. I realized that it would be cool to build a classic space version. Of course this new improved Chronoscaphe should be able to travel both in time and space and would have a powerful armament. No one knows what you'll discover when you're travelling at 10 times the speed of light...

It looks like the Cosmo-Liner ("Captain Future") and that's on purpose of course ;-)

Originally Comander Grayson of the NCS Star fleet's personal transport, the Infiltration Viper was built when agile space combat ships were needed. It's a favored design by many federation fighter pilots, although it's a very rare opportunity to be able to drive one of these as very few were ever produced. only about 6 are currently scattered around the stars.

Well, I have officially created one Neo classic space ship in each of the three color schemes!

I call this a success :-)

NCS Mech

The LL Longstrider can explore under the harshest of conditions, and with its long legs cover distances fairly fast.Bla bla bla, i had a story, but now i cant recall it........ sory!!

My biggest 'MECH' so far stand just short of 50 studs high.

I have for some time wanted to do a NCS themed build, and now when i am in the mood for robots and mechs, i found it apropriate to do a big mech.......

It can hold 2 pilots, and if need be can hold to more minifigs in the body, but not comfortably.

When it was finished, i found out that the windows are not the correct color, but it will be cleared in the future... and on the upper arm there is a BYB 'emblem', just not visible because of bad photo quality.

Enjoy!

Reverse engineered re-construction of Wami Delthorn's Torus.

For the bottom there were no reference pictures so I took the opportunity to hopefully put my own mark on it.

This is just a quick/rough edit of NC Wyeth's house, Andrew Wyeth's father. I took a walk past this house and through some of Chadds Ford (PA) yesterday, where this house and AW's studio is, and I swear there are colors there that don't exist anywhere else. It's such an otherworldly place...to me, anyway.

Sometimes you just gotta go fast.

A: This.

Experimenting with the offset 4-way SNOT brick (what do you call those things?) technique. Neoclassic Space, of course, because this is me. I think I actually prefer this on its stand and flying horizontally rather than standing on its tail like a classic rocket.

I know it’s not part of Febrovery, but here’s my updated take on one of my favorite Classic Space sets. Hope you like it, too! Support Classic Space by clicking the link below!

Inspiration :

A radar vehicle inspired by the chassis of the "Renault X8A 1996" military vehicle. The "Renault X8A" has never been in active service in the French army. Only in the demonstrator and prototype phase. Currently at the Saumur Armored Museum.

For general culture, it's here =>

www.chars-francais.net/2015/index.php/10-archives/de-1990...

Background :

In short, a form of "mini-awacs" on wheels

Exterior :

- Big radar.

- Small radars and antennas.

- Radar dome.

- Small articulated arm in brickbuild.

- Engine exhaust.

- Folding rear door.

Interior :

- 3 crew members : 1 pilot, 2 radar operators.

- Small on-board remastered Space Buggy.

- Various tools and toolbox.

- Various monitoring and control panels.

- A few air fans.

3 Minifigures.

709 total parts.

232 distinct/separates parts.

26.5 cm Width x 11.3 cm Length x 15.9 cm Height.

512.5 grams.

Not necessarily my best construction in terms of design, because we are on a generally rectangular construction. Rather, I favored the functional and utilitarian aspect.

It's okay, I think I'm ready for Lunar exploration ! :)

Nova Ceres Sigma (Ʃ) outpost

A class C facility for scientific research, installed on the barren side of Nova Ceres, one of the 5 moons of the exoplanet Crivs VI.

My second build in the Neo Classic Space theme. This time, a good old outpost. I'm not totally pleased with the photography, I think it looks better in person, but still, I'm happy with the build. : )

It will have an interior, with all the scientific paraphernalia needed for this kind of mission, but that is still a WIP.

Two man minerals investigating mech. Kinda went for something that looks like it might've been designed in the fifties. Was listening to the Gathering's "How to measure a planet?" while building.

Vorpal design by Moctagon Jones. I had to change some parts of the design due to missing pieces.

I don't mind telling you this has grade A+ swooshability.

Light Exporation Sweeper,

Wanted to see what I could do with a build based around all these cylindrical pieces I’ve gathered over the years. Also wanted to build something gnarly.

Continuing the quest to build the flattest, sleekest and pointiest ship in the galaxy.

It had to be done, once.

I hear the Lego Speeder Bike contest is going to return. The core of this speeder was inspired by the classic space set 6809.

So much space, need to see it all.

My first attempt in recent years at building a Classic Spaceship MOC. Loosely inspired by the FX Star Patroller.

A MOC from ages ago, I've had it build for months in the hope that it'll become part of a bigger project (a Neo-Futuron project, ironically enough), but it never happened so here's this dio in case anyone wanted to see it.

More photos on Brickshelf, because I don't want to crowd my photostream with this meh. You may recognise the trailer - I posted it a few months back.

Now I've got this photographed, I can finally take it apart! Wahoo!
