This is from the storms we had on 8/17/2012 knocked out power took down trees and can you beleave I only got 1 shot of lightning out of it. The wind was blowing really good and I couldn't find a dry place to stand to get any. It took me 3 hours to upload this on my dail up I have to get DSL and soon
I was really surprised to find this beautiful Monarch butterfly enjoying my lilac bush. Didn't get a great shot, I was to excited and haven't taken pictures for a very long time. Miss all of you on Flickr who are nice enough to have commented in the past. Thank you.

Thistle in the front garden. If I wasn't into photography, the Thistle would have been so outta here!! Look at the hooks. Ouch!!! If you go near it, it gets into your clothes. Or skin. Don't ask. ;-)
I opened up natures jewelry box and this is what I found. A beautiful spider web with the morning dew glistening in the rising sun.

SEE at Stodmarsh, Kent, in the Elder Wood, this Female was acting very brave, it was a pure joy to see on my first trip to a nature reserve with a camera.. Did not see a lot, but the bird song was amazing, and being back with nature, was heavenly , I will never take nature for granted, and this has taught me to appreciate it far more, and to thank God for every new day on this planet.
