Diese Landschaft ist wunderbar ungebändigt, wildes Wasser und steiler Fels. Das Ennstal bildet im Gesäuse eine der eindrucksvollsten Schluchten der Ostalpen.

Der Nationalpark Gesäuse wurde 2002 gegründet und erstreckt sich im österreichischen Bundesland Steiermark über die Ortschaften Admont, Johnsbach, Weng, Hieflau, Landl und St. Gallen
