On the first launch attempt, no one could be seen on the car-lined road. There were several holds and delays for the launch, which ended up scrubbed for the day, then successfully launched on Friday, December 5th.

Today was the #StateOfNASA event at NASA centers across America. I was fortunate to get to attend the #NASASocial that covered the presentation and then touring the facility. Great things are going on at Stennis and their future looks bright.
On top of launch pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center. The pad is being prepared for the launch of NASA's Space Launch System, their newest rocket set for launch in early 2017.
