NAS Moffett Field flight line, 17 December 1934. Inthe foreground are VT-2B Great Lakes TG-2s BuNo A-8703, 2-T-1, 2-T-9, 2-T-8 in the front row and 2-T-3, 2-T-7, 2-T-4, and 2-T-15 in the back row (TG-2 BuNo's are A8697-A8728.) The other aircraft are VF-6B Boeing F4B-4s and VF-2B Curtiss BFC-2 Goshawks.
Nas Beach sits on the northwest part of Ikaria. Just off the camera to the left are the ruins of an ancient temple to Artemis.

This one required no retouching at all on my part. Other than a slight crop on the top right, it's as i shot it. And as i mentioned before, i think Nas has a powerful profile.
(I ended up doing a slightly modified version of my watermark presentation so as not to slap it on his face. That's what i actually had to retouch. LOL!)
So, after finding a black and white conversion approach i liked on the other images of Nas with a blank background, i decided to go back and do the same on this one. makes for more of a consistent set, ultimately...
