War Memorial, Mytholmroyd.

The clubhouse at Moderna Way, home to Mytholmroyd Cricket Club, members of the Halifax League. Captured during a 90-run defeat by Premier Division rivals Triangle in a semi-final of the Parish Cup. After making a fairly slow start on a pretty small ground (44-0 after 15 overs, the first drinks break), Triangle went on to post a challenging total Royd never looked capable of overhauling. Triangle now meet Warley, seven-wicket victors against visitors Sowerby St Peter's, at Copley Cricket Club on August 5 in the final of the Halifax League's blue riband knockout competition.

Match statistics:

Admission: free. Programme: none. Attendance: 135. Triangle won the toss and elected to bat. Triangle 305-7 off 45 overs (Michael Midwood 85, Chris Metcalf 66, Jack Gledhill 30, James Cowens 3-82) beat by 90 runs Mytholmroyd 215 off 39 overs (Greg Spink 51 not out, Tom Earle 50, Jack Gledhill 4-33, Michael Midwood 2-28).
