Thankful things are as well as they are
For we have had tons of flooding and high waters ...
Some parts are washed out and away .... water in homes ...
Very thankful I live on this hill ...
The Good Lord saw fit to let the sun shine Sunday .....
This is what the pic was thru the camera lens last evening ...
We still have plenty of water and high flooding ...
As I ponder back, I am not sure I have ever seen our neck of the woods like this ....
Places in Rhea County are washed out ... and in my area as well ...
So thankful things are as well as they are with us ..
Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead ...

Southwest Rim - Arizona
A quick trip to Phoenix to see old friends, then an overnight at the canyon. The weather was cloudy, cool and windy, but created a beautiful mystical atmosphere!
The geological history is simply beyond amazing! When they start talking in "millions" of years, I get a headache. :)

I took a few steps off the path into the forest, positioning myself directly opposite the late afternoon sun. A light haze near the forest floor and the unique light – paired with a closed aperture – led to this photo. The sun rays breaking through the trees create an almost mystical atmosphere, casting the autumn forest in a truly special light for me.
Hier ging ich ein paar Schritte neben des Weges in den Wald, so dass ich mich direkt in Opposition zu der spätnachmittäglichen Sonne befand. Ein leichter Dunst in Bodennähe des Waldes und das spezielle Licht – kombiniert mit einer geschlossenen Blende – führte zu diesem Foto. Die Sonnenstrahlen, die durch die Bäume brechen, verleihen der Szenerie eine fast mystische Atmosphäre, die den Herbstwald für mich in einem ganz besonderen Licht erstrahlen lässt.
