It looks like the time has frozen.....the boatman even doesn't control his boat...it may go where ever it wants to....he doesn't care.
Taken at Mymensingh.
বেশ কিছু দিন থেকে ছবিটি মাথায় ঘুরপাক খাচ্ছিল, অবশেষে ক্যামেরায় ধরা পড়লো ।

Transportation has always been an issue affecting people living in rural Bangladesh. The landscape is intertwingled with countless canals, rivers and streams; making transportation a significant challenge.
In recent years, the road network is expanding quite rapidly, especially after the 2000s, allowing people to travel without facing serious hindrances.
Then came the electric tricycles from China, changing the entire pattern of local- short distance trips. People hardly walks anymore.
I am not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing. Time will tell.

Mymensingh, Bangladesh, 2009.
Go back, where your root is.
Your ancestors lived in villages, in a simple and colorful way.
No matter how fast car you have or how much wealth.....
No matter on which level of a building you live....no matter how corporate you are.....
They can't buy you the true colors and pace of one life.
Turn back and see what you threw away willingly.
Captured from Mymensingh, Bangladesh. A scenic view of a true village.
