I was thinking...if Maxine's My New BFF was real, what would an ad look like? I think this is the answer. Also it's my way of showing off the new Logo. Season one has a lot more 'yellow' in it. This one is more 'Maxine-Pink'
I love these girls! So glad I got them when I did. They are extremely hard to find now. If anyone has one to sell, let me know. I want doubles, triples even!
My 25th birthday marked me getting what I always wanted ever since I was little...a doll cake! But not just any doll... Maxine Of course!
Officer Billy and Officer Nia are on the scene as Maxine gives chase! Maxine is going to be fined for looking a hot mess in public!
The girl in gold, Cheri is a princess in her own mind. She's always seen wearing metallic colored clothes as she feels she is a jewel. And a fabulous jewel needs a good silver or gold setting. Cheri has a big mouth and a bad attitude. Her biggest rival is Emmica of Bianca's clique. The two have never gotten along and on more than one occasion, Cheri's big mouth has gotten her attacked...most times by Emmica.
Cheri was a character introduced in Maxine's formative 'comic book' years. She used to be Susan's arch rival. As with most of the characters in the Maxine world, when Cheri evolved, she wasn't so much the anti-Susan anymore. Now she's just your everyday beeyotch with a bad attitude. Not just an antagonist to one character, but a general pain in the butt to everyone.
Cheri used to be a Chelsea doll. But I liked the 'Roller Girls' Nolee for her better. But of course this was a few months ago when my local "Lot-Less" stores had more RG Nolees than I could handle. Either way, she got her reroot and I had my desired Cheri. The original Cheri was given away in a contest on the My Scene Hangout.

FireMage's entry in Maxine's My New BFF 2 Fashion Disasters challenge. This was the second option submitted for the competition. As a special prize for winning the previous challenge, Alia was able to submit two different looks for this challenge.
Considered the 'Wild' one, Chris is the one you see in detention every day. Impulsive and wreckless, Chris always gets caught doing something wrong. Chris is never one to listen to anyone, or anything other than his own gut feelings. Unfortunately his gut feelings do him more harm than good.
As with most of my My Scene guys, this 'Club Birthday' River was rebodied onto an obitsu body. I have him and his brother nearly identical outfits. The main differences being that Brenden's shirt has blue stripes, while Chris' stripes are pink. Also Chris' hair was spiked up. The gel seems to be wearing off so he may need a touch up soon.
Club Night Madison, easily my favorite of the bunch. Her face is gorgeous! She uses the same facial screening as 'Totally Charmed' Kennedy, another favorite of mine.
I could think of no better model that My Scene's Kennedy for the "Broadcast Yourself" series. She has the distinctive Barbie face, with the unsettling addition of bedroom eyes, and cherry red slightly parted lips. Combined with her girlish ponytails, she channels a myriad of forbidden fantasies and desires. I decided to use a different doll's body, which I couse for its suggestive pose and sheer red nightie.
She is using the built-in webcam on her little laptop to share images of herself with the world. She makes a digital slide show for her social networking pages using a song by The Pussycat Dolls. The lyrics of the song are about wanting fame and attention, and being called sexy by boys. She knows no better way to express herself that to take photos that expose her breasts. She is not thinking of the consequences of her actions, especially what kind of influence this could have on her little sister Ana.

The Doll Project is a series of conceptual digital photographs that uses fashion dolls to embody the negative messages the media gives to young girls. Though it would not be fair to blame it all on Barbie, there have been many instances in which she has come dangerously close. I chose to use Barbie dolls because they are miniature mannequins, emblems of the fashion world writ small, a representation of our culture's impossible standards of beauty scaled to one sixth actual size. The little pink scale and How To Lose Weight book are both real Barbie accessories from the 1960s. They are recurring motifs in the pictures in the series, symbolizing the ongoing dissatisfaction many girls and women feel about their weight and body image. The dolls' names, Ana and Mia, are taken from internet neologisms coined by anorexic and bulimic girls who have formed online communities with the unfortunate purpose of encouraging each other in their disordered eating. With each passing era, Ana and Mia are younger and younger, and the physical ideal to which they aspire becomes more unattainable. They internalize the unrealistic expectations of a society that digitally manipulates images of women in fashion and beauty advertisements and value their own bodies only as objects for others to look at and desire.

Maxine is a forgiving girl and not one to hold grudges, apparently Cookie doesn't hold grudges either. Thank goodness!
In a decision that was reminiscent of Season One, Maxine decided to bring Dannika back for a second chance. And while some drama waves rippled in the BFF mansion over Maxine’s decision, it was nothing compared to what went down during the TTYN ceremony. Leah and Alia got into it over Alia’s attitude during the Q&A. All the while Dannika and La'Raesa were at each others throats when asked to critique each other's work. Ultimately La'Raesa's laissez-faire demeanor and lackluster photo got her sent home. 13 girls still remain, who will be eliminated next?

This is the first My Scene doll I've gotten at an actual store since like 2008. I was so excited to find ANY My Scene doll in an actual store here in NY. So when my BF and I went to Lot-Less and I saw the Club Night collection there, I knew I had to get at least one.
I'll most likely be going back to get the rest of them
I went to the Liberty Science Center today with my mom and I asked her if we could go to A.J. Wright and it too us 2 1/2 hours to find it! I found a location on the Internet but we found out it was closed down! Ugh! We found another one (an hour away) and I bought Be-Bratz AA, Flower Girlz Sasha, Magic Make-Up Sasha, Asary (Winter Version?), and Bevery Fashion (Pampered Pupz Version). Now what shocked me was the MyScene doll! My mom went to Rite Aid to get a few things and I saw a Street Sweet Kennedy MyScene doll! I thought they didn't sell them in the USA anymore! I bought her! So I got 6 new dollies and some stuff from LSC, it was an adventure! Lol!
