Taking out the saturation from the photograph and presenting an explicit monochrome shot;drenched in attractiveness and somberness.

Once the residence and neighborhood of distinct Italian population, Little Italy in New York of the present day is a major tourist spot in New York. Located between the Grand and Canal street along Mulberry Street, the place is famous for authentic Italian eateries that line up the street. These eateries with their specific Italian food distinguishes Little Italy in New York from the rest of New York City. Initially, Little Italy in New York stretched from the Canal Street North to Houston but with time its parameters have narrowed down and it is restricted within four blocks of the City. However, the size of the Neighborhood has not affected the authenticity of the place or the taste of the food made there.

The Wazir Khan mosque's distinguishing architectural feature is the use of minarets at each of its four corners--the first time such a design was employed in Lahore. The prayer hall follows the one-aisle five-bay motif that was first established in Lahore a generation earlier at the Maryam Zamani Mosque, which was later to find its full expression in the Badshahi Mosque built by Emperor Aurangzeb a half century later. Much of the mosque is constructed of cut and dressed brick decorated with glazed tile mosaics.

A curious feature of the mosque is the incorporation of 22 shops into its ground plan. Situated on either side of the entrance hall, these shops form a bazaar with a brick-paved passage in between. This commercial area extends east beyond the mosque into the Chowk Wazir Khan (Wazir Khan Square) which remains a vibrant commercial district to the present day.

A sunflower captured right from the facing front;rich in colors and sharp in details;certainly an eye-catching floral close-up.

I was taking picture of this villager boy in Narh, a village near Panjpeer Rocks, Pakistan.

He was not smiling at all, so I said "hans ke dikha yar, tv pe ao gay tum..."

And then he gave me this crooked smile.

When it comes to be sad; you will be sad alone.

Little Italy is a neighborhood in lower Manhattan, New York City, once known for its large population of Italians.

Historically, Little Italy extended as far south as Bayard Street, as far north as Bleecker, as far west as Lafayette, and as far east as the Bowery. As Italian Americans left Manhattan for other cheaper boroughs and neighborhoods, such as the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, the neighborhood recognizable as Little Italy gradually shrank.

Beautiful sunset over mountains of Galiyat, KPK, Pakistan.

I took this shot on my way back from Nathiagali. The west direction was all golden and yellow like the sky was set on fire.

Testing shooting my camera the other day and caught two pigeons "kissing in public".

A simple macro shot of a flower, from certain wide angle, showing the full flat face of the flower....nothing but an eye-catching expression of simplicity in nature.

The Tomb of Jahangir (Urdu: مقبرہُ جہانگیر‎, Punjabi: جہانگير دا مقبرہ) is a mausoleum built for Jahangir, who ruled the Mughal Empire from 1605 to 1627. The mausoleum is located in Shahdara Bagh in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Jahangir died at Rajauri in 1627 after he returned to Lahore. He was buried on the banks of the River Ravi in the large walled garden of Empress Nur Jahan three miles northwest of the region of Shahdara, in Lahore. His tomb was built and completed by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1637 AD, at the cost of ten lac rupees.

Capturing the colors of evening on sunset at Shalimar Gardens, Lahore.

The Shalimar Gardens (Punjabi, Urdu: شالیمار باغ‎), sometimes written as Shalamar Gardens, is a Mughal garden complex located in Lahore, Pakistan. Construction began in 1641 AD (1051 AH) and was completed the following year. The project management was carried out under the superintendence of Khalilullah Khan, a noble of Shah Jahan's court, in cooperation with Ali Mardan Khan and Mulla Alaul Maulk Tuni. The meaning of the name Shalimar remains unknown, Russian scholar Anna Suvorova in her book Lahore: Topophilia of Space and Place has asserted that it is certainly an Arabic or Persian name since a Muslim King would never use a Sanskrit or Hindu name for a royal garden. The Shalimar Gardens are located near Baghbanpura along the Grand Trunk Road some 5 kilometers northeast of the main Lahore city. Shalimar Gardens draws inspiration from Central Asia, Kashmir, Punjab, Persia, and the Delhi Sultanate.

The Naulakha Pavilion is a prominent white marble personal chamber with a curvilinear roof, located beside the Sheesh Mahal courtyard, in the northern section of the Lahore Fort in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The structure was originally inlaid with precious and semi-precious stones and overlooked the Ravi River. Today, it is one of the 21 monuments situated within the Lahore Fort, with its western façade providing a panoramic view of the ancient city of Lahore. In 1981, as part of the larger Lahore Fort Complex, it became inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I don't believe in this stories where a beautiful girl born in a castle, sleeping in a royal bed, eating off silver spoons and wearing extravagant wardrobes is called "Princess".

In my stories, the girl living in a rural valley, wandering in dusty slippers and smiling when a bird flutters near by and laughter floods when she freely run to chases a goat, she is the "Real Princess"

The Diwan-i-Aam was the Hall of commons. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1628. The kings regularly had meetings with the common people in this hall. Its design is similar to the Diwan-i-Aam at the Agra Fort. The hall has forty pillars and was built in front of a balcony. It was destroyed when a Sikh ruler Sher Singh bombarded the fort in his fight against Maharani Chand Kaur, the wife of Mahraja Kharak Singh. It was later restored by the British in 1849.
