I think a hawkweed type plant, delightfully mutated. One of the best fasciations I’ve found.

in the Capital city the filthy rich lives in Stratos-scrapers and levitating palaces, at ground level those with regular employment and some status lives...
Then at what is known to most as The cellar levels the poor and factory workers live in just above starvation and misery, if you travel even deeper to the grotto parts of the undercity hoards of savage mutants and outcast aliens and renegade droids live most people who doesn´t have to travel down here with out a platoon of bodyguard federations soldiers and 2-3 defense Bots and a dozen of pathfinders...
This is of cause not even the deepest levels, there are all sorts of rumors of different deep-city Abyssal levels...
since the contact between the different levels in the city, few above cellar-level knows anything about the deeper levels, some say there is huge mutated Dinos running around eating everything, some say a huge biological fleshy mutated mass spread it´s tentacles through the deepest levers incorporating all organic and some inorganic matter in to it´s huge swelling bloated mutant body... but the deepest levels are yet unexplored by "Civilized surface dwellers"
This picture depicts a common trap made by mutants and deep-level scum, the lure-trap goes like this, a mutant with special radio-active attributes such as tapping in to radio-messages or someone who has accidentally swallow a piece of communication tech and gotten this trait in that manner...
...anyway one of these gangers homes in on the radio of a random spacecraft and does his best to convince the victim pilot that they are ground control, then slowly lures the pilot down towards the landing strip which in reality is one of the vents leading deep in to the planet core...
before this the whole pack of underhivling scums have constructed a fake landing coarse and when the pilot lands they wait until the engines are turned off, then they all strike at once, coming from all corners with chains, hooks, chainsaws, pipes, magnets, tentacles and so on...
the pilot then usually tries to start his ship again, but since most spacecraft especially small fighter are lightweight because of economic reasons the pure mutant-body-weight is enough to pull it down, at the same time as they cling to the ship all starts bashing and hacking it, tearing it apart piece by piece in hope to maim it enough to prohibit flight, then at most time there will be fighting among the Hive-scum on which parts they are "the rightful" owners of, many are starving carnivores who see the pilot as a juicy pice of meat behind the thin crystal canopy...
Some pilots choose to eject themselves, with is an almost certain death at this cluttered level of the city, with metal and pipes sticking out everywhere and concrete wall, still the choose certain death rather than being ripped apart by brawling aliens and mutants fighting over dinner...

A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious, but it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves amoung those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor. He speaks in the accents familar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the souls of all men. He rots the soul of a nation- he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city- he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.

What happens if virtual bacteria emit color-mutating waste as they colonize? This 16 megapixel thing happens. Unless you see this at my earthbound.io blog, see original post URL for full resolution.

Inspired by this computer generated contemporary art post (and after I got the script to work and posted it here), I wondered what the visual result would be from an algorithm like this:
– paint a canvas with a base color
– pick a random coordinate on it
– mutate the color at that coordinate a bit
– randomly walk in any direction
– mutate a bit from the previous color, then drop that color there
– repeat (but don't repeat on already used coordinates)
– if all adjacent coordinates have been colored, pick a new random coordinate on the canvas
– repeat (this is less necessary if the virtual bacteria colonize: )
Then I wondered what happens if the bacteria duplicate–if they create mutated copies of themselves which repeat the same thing, so that you get spreading colonies of color-pooping bacteria.
I got a python script working that accomplished this, and while with great patience it produced amazing output, I was frustrated with the inefficiency of it (a high resolution render took a day), and wondered how to make it faster.
Someone with the username "scribblemaniac" at github apparently took notice of image posts I made linking to this script, and they figured out how to speed it up by many orders of magnitude, and opened a pull request with a new version of the script. (They also added features. And used a new file name. I merged the request.) The above image is from the new version. It took ~7 minutes to render. The old version would have taken maybe 2 days. (If the link to the new version goes bad it's because I tested and integrated or copied the new version over the old file name).
In a compiled language, it might be much faster.
I did all this unaware that someone else won a "code golf" challenge by coming up with the same concept, except using colors differently. (There are all kinds of gorgeous generative art results in various answers there!–go have fun and get lost in them!) Their source code is down and forsaken apparently, but someone in the comments describes speeding up the process in several languages and ultimately making a lighting fast C++ program, the source of which is over here. Breathtaking output examples are over here. Their purpose is slightly different: use all colors in the RGB color space. Their source could probably be tweaked to use all colors from a list.

Mutated, ugly and more organic in appearance, these rahi are altered versions of the creatures seen in 2001, altered by Mahri nui's mutagen in 2007.
It was an interesting proposal to work with, especially when using pieces like Pridak's head which I felt at the time would be difficult to use in the figure.
as much as possible I wanted to achieve a fearsome appearance, which was close to the illustrated concept.
enjoy it!!
Macro Mutations
It is well-known that viruses mutate. The current COVID-19 virus already has at least 2 variations, likely from mutations.
With this in mind, I must announce a shocking finding; the discovery of the most dramatic viral mutations ever observed in the annuls of science. Yes, I admit that my revelations have not been well-received by the scientific community, and in fact, I have been labeled a fraud and purveyor of fake news. This time, however, my astounding observations will send shockwaves throughout the immunological research teams of the world.
I have found two corona virus specimens that have grown exponentially to the point that they are a looming danger to planetary bodies and even supernatural celestial beings! I fear that if our globe is infected there will be cataclysmic symptoms such as earthquakes, floods and storms of biblical proportions. Furthermore, if celestial supernatural beings were to catch this ailment, all of their faithful followers would be plunged into despair.
We must stop this affliction now before it goes cosmic!

Which it obviously is not. 3rd August 2015. A prosthetic I sculpted and made in 2015. I sold only one and it was very difficult to cast, so I dumped the mould.
Humanity is not the only adversary in the Acid Rain World. Animals, mutated by radiation into larger and more aggressive creatures, are fighting for survival as well.
My first year painting at this annual graffiti jam in its 17th year. It is the oldest European graffiti festival and is based in the Irish town of Drogheda.
The theme to our wall was 'Mutations'. I painted a mutated animal made up of a few random animal parts. Loads of fun putting this up.
A big thanks to Rask for getting me involved in this, Crap for all his help and to all of the people who got stuck in over the weekend and painted burners! Great standard all round.
Shouts to Phats and Myne.
went to Mutate last night to drop off some work and paint on the gallery wall, wasn't long before I found myself slumming it in the mens toilet which soon attracted a crowd and after some Nitro action a much better smell ; ))

Here’s a big bastard at an event that Aroe ran at The Moon (a hall of fame that got the name from the lunar dust blowing through it’s vast expanse). I love Brighton. My pieces there always came out bad.
My detailed “Shoks” was looking a bit lost sandwiched between hefty “Aroe” and “Anie” pieces so I asked the boys if I could mutate the traditional clouds they were doing behind their letters. I shot out strands to carry the infection - if you look carefully, you can see the oldschool polka dots and stripes they had in their clouds.
Someone tried to prevent the event by putting tar all over the place where everyone had to climb into the plot but it was minor and stopped nothing. Of more pressing concern were the gale force winds coming in off the sea front threatening to tear us off the top of the ladder.
Mutated Orange Howler Monkey is considered very rare. This one I photographed in the Cano Negro National Wildlife Refuge in Costa Rica, where local people named her "Blondie".
The Mantled Howler is one of the largest Central American monkeys, males can weigh up to 9.8 kg (22 lb). This primate lives up to an elevation of 2,500 m from southern Mexico to northwestern South America. Adults are black with brown or blonde saddles; infants are silver to golden brown and become increasingly like adult coloration until they are about 12 weeks old.
It is the only Central American monkey that eats large quantities of leaves; it has several adaptations to this folivorous diet. Since leaves are difficult to digest and provide less energy than most foods, the mantled howler spends the majority of each day resting and sleeping. The male mantled howler has an enlarged hyoid bone, a hollow bone near the vocal cords, which amplifies the calls made by the male, and is the reason for the name "howler". Howling allows the monkeys to locate each other without expending energy on moving or risking physical confrontation.
The mantled howler lives in groups that can have over 40 members, although groups are usually smaller. Most mantled howlers of both sexes are evicted from the group they were born in upon reaching sexual maturity, resulting in most adult group members being unrelated. The most dominant male, the alpha male, gets preference for food and resting places, and mates with most of the receptive females. The mantled howler is important to the rainforest ecology as a seed disperser and germinator.
Необычайно яркая столбовидная мутация хавортии полосатой. Белые туберкулы с внешней стороны листа сливаются в широкие линии, есть они и с внутренней в виде точек. Редкая форма, деток пока не образует.

A mutated alien of Ga'unk's species. Part of my alien vignette ^_^
The pincers are all moveable. I gave him a winged serpentine like body, like the original, just larger. A little skinnier then I normally make my stuff, but thats to flow better with the idea. I personally love this head design <3
C&C appreciated folks ^_^
