Turn up volume (:
Note: The music doesn't belong to me, i just like to be creative and make videos to promote my favorite songs.

I forgive every word you said

Inspiration song ➜ Flowers - Miley Cyrus
I captured this a couple of weeks ago, when I helped a production company to make a music video for a band I like and kind of know. The band is called Dyst, and play something like hardcore / metalcore.

Last year I decided that this year would be one of trying anything, everything, and whatever else is in between - what scares me, what excites me, and especially what scares and excites me. I decided to direct a music video without any expectation, just me, a small crew/cast, and the pure joy of making something that didn't previously exist. Photography is a passion of mine, but filmmaking came first. I started out as a teenager making the creepiest little films while I was supposed to be folding laundry in a retirement home. That passion blossomed into degrees in film and English from my university. And now, seven years after I graduated, I'm back to that original passion.

I present to you a music video for the song "At a Glance" by Message to Bears, with the band's joyful consent of the video (thank goodness!) to share with you. I hope today, no matter how you feel about my art, that you go out and create something - anything - that puts your mark on the world...or, more importantly, that captures your own heart and imagination. "Don't be scared, it's okay."

The concept of "Galetzka Bothe Turbulenz" was free improvisation ... without exception - without rehearsals, without any agreements and without defining stylistic boundaries. For the most part, the material that was created live and in the studio between 1999 and 2004 should find its place somewhere between fusion, progressive, pop, alternative and rock.
Since there is still a lot to report about a not everyday band history, it will be updated at this point within the next few days and weeks ...

Not uploaded anything for short while as been working on a video. I only got into this photography marlarkey through video production after buying a Canon 7d , as a lot of indie film makers did / do. Not done anything like this for a while so thought I would jump straight in at the deep end with this rather labour intensive effort. Good practice and discovered some new techniques stay tuned for the finished thing shot at Denbigh Asylum this is a screen grab from the video in production.

This is a video of my "Re. Rainbow Girl" project being installed at the University of Wisconsin Stout. The music is a quick cover I did of Robbie Robertson's song "Broken Arrow" .
Since 2009 I've made a lot of musicvideos.
To give you an idea of what I've been doing for the last 12 years I've put together scenes from most of these videos with a fitting song.

A few months back I had the chance to be in an actual music video. The band is MisterWives and lucky for me they were shooting the video in the Philadelphia area. Friends that shoot my high end video productions were in charge of creating the story as well as shooting the full music video.
They asked if I would like to play the "angry" dance coach while they asked Todd who was in their first music video is he would like to play the washed up dance coach. I figured since I was going to be on set hanging around for hours at a time I might as well bring my camera along to capture BTS candid photos.
The band had no issue with me capturing photos of them and just went about their day as I took candid images. The only thing I wish could have been different is that someone could have been shooting photos of me while I was "acting".
If you would like to see the FULL RES exported videos you can click here to go to the Flickr gallery. Remember, if you use any of these images please be sure to link back to my page FroKnowsPhoto.com.
I am sure some people will wonder why am I uploading full res images without watermarks, the answer is simple. I want my images to be seen. I want them to be seen full res and at their best quality. I am not looking to sell these images and even if I were, posting them would not hurt the ability to sell them at a later date.
It was a blast being in the video and spending a few days with the band taking their photo. Check out their latest music video below.
