Margan and I have noticed several new murals adorning walls around downtown Bethesda in the last couple of weeks. This one is on a hot dog restaurant about two blocks from where we live. I like the idea of public art!

I've been to Mexico twice and the first time was in 2001 to Playa del Carmen where I met up with a good friend from England and we just laughed non-stop and relaxed for a week. Going back 21 years later was an even bigger change than I expected. I hardly recognize it being the same place but it seems to be doing very well as a tourist town.

Vancouver is (finally) encouraging creative murals to pop up around town and this is one I found on South Granville St. Look carefully and you'll see it's actually not the edge of a wall.

I can not pass this mural on Homer Street at a West Cordova parking garage in downtown Vancouver without looking at it and it's all about the eyes.
No signature on the mural so I have no idea who the artist is.

Heidi and Jackson are admiring and pondering upon one of the Provo murals, depicting the early days of the Provo settlement in the 1800s.
