I posted a couple of shots of the Multiverse light sculpture by Leo Villareal a while back. This is a slightly different take on the artwork. I took this shot when it was on display at the moving walkway at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. It is one of the coolest light shows that I have seen. The 40,000 light emitting diodes are constantly changing patterns as you move down the walkway between the East and West Gallery.
Multiverse, the largest and most complex light sculpture created by American artist Leo Villareal, may be experienced by visitors as they pass through the Concourse walkway between the East and West Buildings of the National Gallery of Art. The work features approximately 41,000 computer-programmed LED (light-emitting diode) nodes that run through channels along the 200-foot-long space.

I'm always asking myself, what if? What if this, what if that? If you've ever spent hours under the stars, the things you see make you question everything. How irrelevant we are on Earth compared to what else is out there. Simply incredible what is.
Makes you feel redundant, in awe, but most of all it makes you question everything. This is what I love most about Astrophotography, and sharing that passion with like minded, & people starting out.

Crawick Multiverse
Yesterday we were at the launch event for the Crawick Multiverse land art project near Sanquhar by Charles Jencks. Without knowing quite what to expect, all I can really say that this is one very special place. It has stunning landscape art, with standing stones, stone circles, spirals, stone avenues, tombs etc.. The launch event had a mixture of music and performing artists as well as a small firework display to close the day off.
This is a place I will be returning to time and time again over the seasons

Here is my story with unedited pictures i took of my creation
I got invited to help build a region for the Multiverse fair!. My region is called "Cult Of The Goldfish". When asked for a Region Name, i came up with "Ecliptic Aquatia".
I was asked to design an above water performers & DJ's area. as well as a dance area, and to connect it to another world below for the merchants.
This was a first time ever that such a region was attempted, it was a challenge, but i had so much fun building and creating this. And getting to know the amazing Multiverse staff! I would gladly do it again if asked.

The Amphitheatre – which can hold 5,000 people – is at the heart of the Crawick Multiverse. A music festival is being held here the first weekend in September.
It captures the beauty of a total eclipse, replicating its iconic shape and form with a circle of boulders and ridges, representing the Sun. The Amphitheatre faces due south, and two glittering lagoons add to its magic and drama.
In 2016 Charles Jencks created a new artwork within the Amphitheatre, a mosaic entitled ‘Sun Flare / Earth Shield’.

The multiverse (or meta-universe) is the hypothetical set of infinite or finite possible universes (including the historical universe we consistently experience) that together comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, and energy as well as the physical laws and constants that describe them.
