This is one of the handles from a novelty mug, bought from Alton Towers theme park after we came off the amazing wooden Wicker Man ride!
One of its best uses to date was during lock down, we had a virtual online team meeting and the theme was ‘bring along an unusual mug’. Instant win!

This is an old chipped mug, but it holds many memories for me. My Grandad bought it in the 1960s from a pottery in Cromer Norfolk, (hence the crab stamp) and I can remember admiring it as a child. I loved the black finish and that little scroll at the bottom of the handle. I now use it to store pens and pencils on my desk.

This mug is a gift from my daughter to my son. He left it in my cupboard when he moved out.

Believe it or not this hand made mug has a very comfortable handle with a thumb rest incorporated into it.

The strangest mug handle I've seen - and probably the most beautiful! The design is called 'Wave" or "New Wave" by Villeroy & Boch. I found my mug in a charity shop, and fell in love with simple blue and white ... and that handle design!
Sadly it's the design that makes the mug almost useless for daily use ... you can't stand the mug upside down, making it so difficult to wash. Not exactly practical , I still keep this treasure for the pure delight of the look!
There's another angle on the handle in the first comment field
Have a happy weekend, and stay safe and warm!
