Street capture from Gotham City, aka Glasgow, Scotland.
Breaking my self-imposed 'processing in chronological order' rule for my backlog of photos to bring this shot that I took yesterday on Bothwell Street in Glasgow.
Last year this street was the scene of filming for Spiderman: Brand New Day, and now it is a Christmastime winter Gotham City for the filming of a new Batman movie.
To be fair, Gotham City probably has less crime at the minute! Glasgow has really gone to the dogs since 2020.
It actually made me feel a little chilly walking over the Hollywood snow which looked really convincing in person. It was cool to see set dressing like "Lacy's" here and restaurants like Gotham Fork.
I believe that most of the filming is taking place at night so I didn't get to enjoy any of the action this time. Glasgow is becoming quite the Hollywood destination.

As the sun dips low over Dublin City Centre, casting a warm golden glow across the brick facades, the evening stretch begins to unfold. The sky, streaked with hues of orange and pink, signals the end of another bustling day in the capital. There’s a certain magic in this moment—people spilling out of offices and shops, their shadows stretching long on the pavement, eager to hop on the Dublin Bus G1 route heading toward Red Cow Luas via Parkwest Station. The double-decker buses, painted in their iconic green and yellow, rumble gently through the streets, ready to ferry commuters home for a well-deserved rest.
At the bus stop, a lively crowd gathers, chatting and laughing as they wait for their ride. The air is crisp, carrying the faint hum of the city winding down. Among the buses, one stands out with a vibrant ad plastered on its side, spotlighting the latest Mission: Impossible film. “Tom Cruise: The Final Reckoning” it declares in bold letters, promising heart-pounding action in cinemas from May 21. The ad’s bright lights catch the eye, a little beacon of Hollywood glamour amidst the everyday rhythm of Dublin life—a perfect nudge for anyone craving a thrilling night out after a long day.
There’s a comforting rhythm to this scene: the soft clatter of footsteps, the low hum of engines, and the occasional burst of laughter from the crowd. As the sun finally slips below the horizon, the streetlights flicker on, casting a cozy glow over the buses and their passengers. For those aboard the G1, the journey home is more than just a commute—it’s a moment to unwind, reflect, and maybe even plan a trip to the cinema to catch Ethan Hunt’s latest adventure. Dublin at sunset, with its blend of routine and excitement, never fails to charm.

Originally taken on May 5, 2007, this is the big finale of the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This show is full of fire, exposions, car chases, and plenty of high-octane stunts with behind the scenes explanations by film professionals on how these stunts are performed. Awesome show...I recommend it!!

As I was working on updating the photos in my "Collections & Lines" album, I realized that my Mary-Kate and Ashley collection needed some help. Ordinarily, I leave collection photos alone, since they grow/change over the years. My original picture of these dolls was snapped in 2015. But sadly, my collection has barely changed. Not one doll has been added in five years. I just don't have luck with Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls. I always seem to find the same common ones I already have, like Movie Magic. But on a positive note, some of my dolls did get outfit upgrades. "1st Edition" Mary-Kate for instance only had her haggard slumber party outfit and riding ensemble to wear back then. In recent years, I tracked down her main, casual outfit. It looks so much more flattering! I was also eager to reshoot this photo because I made some Mary-Kate and Ashley inspired backgrounds out of old calendars, posters, and magazine cutouts. These were all items that once graced my dolls' displays. But as I needed more room for Bratz, Disney, and Moxie Girlz in my display areas, I had no more use for these Mary-Kate and Ashley paper goods. Now my girls have two special backdrops for photos--and it's awesome seeing these things I've had since childhood going to use. I began collecting Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls at the age of eleven. About half of these dolls I acquired as a kid--at flea markets and stores. The other portion I found the first few years as an adult collector, most from secondhand places (three from eBay). I'd love to add more beauties to my collection someday, especially the ones inspired by movies like "Getting There" and "When in Rome."

The Tyrannosaurus model was flexible and was photographed one frame at a time after the animator moved it into a slightly different position.
