#33 in this case refers to the Caterpillar model number, it also was assigned the alpha-numeric code 7a734 which I'm guessing refers to the series that this #33 is part of or to its specifications. The #33 was introduced in 1931 and to give an idea of how antiquated this machine is it does not have an engine - it was pulled behind some other motorized tractor. Also in 1931 Caterpillar became the first tractor company to produce a motor grader with pneumatic type rubber tires called the Auto Patrol.

Dozens of ancient 1960's era Wabco 440's and newer Canadian-built Champion motor graders, owned by contractor Westridge Equipment and used to keep the streets of Toronto clear of snow, sit around awaiting winter in a City of Toronto compound lot (that used to be home to CNR's West Toronto station and express/freight building) at Old Weston Road.

The biggest grader in the world built by Mr. Acco Umberto in 1980.
Now it is in very bad condition at Acco depot in Portogruaro (VE) - Italy without cab, twin wheels and blade.

Ora si trova in cattive condizioni presso il deposito della Acco a Portogruaro (VE) senza cabina, ruote gemellate e lama.
