I need to try the XPan with more film stocks. I can't tell if it is the lens or the film that is so sharp!

The first roll home-processed of FPP hand-rolled EXP vision 250D. It's expired Kodak motion picture film. It's ECN-2 process so you can not send it to your favorite lab BUT you can home-process or send to The Little Film Lab in California or The Camera Ship in Minnesota (They specialize in ECN-2 film processing).

Shooting Double X, 5222 under high contrast situations to see how well the FPP D96 handles the film Maintaining detail in the highlights and shadows is the best test for this situation. First snow of the Fall Winter 2019-2020 season. I am very pleased with the final results, I've shoot 5222 in the past and it has not be one of my favorites but I do like the rendition in FPP D96
Camera: Olympus Om2n, Zuiko 35-70mm lens.
Film: Double X, Eastman 5222, ISO 200, Processed in FPP D96, stock, 7 min. 30 seconds minutes @68 degrees.

Excited.. the first of a pile of colour film I started developing today.. and here my first Kodak Vision3 50D photo to share
I added a roll of Kodak Vision3 50D to my collection of motion picture films which I then bulk loaded.
This photo was shot in my Hasselblad Xpan + 90mm f4 lens in the studio with Stacey.
We didn't even start the shoot til about 21:30 but i'm really happy with the results / 50D. :)
I was a bit casual cleaning off the remjet layer but I left the marks so you know its not a digital photo! :) I think I will be leaving more marks going forward as the photos look more real (and I can process faster)
Funnily I used the digital Hasselblad on the same shoot and although I took some nice photos I only posted one which i later removed as it was not to my taste. Not the content just the digital look. I really am not keen on digital. Luckily i shot quite a bit of film too using the XPan, Leica M6 and Nikon F4.
I bought a new Leica today for when i'm shooting mutliple film stocks side by side / part used and in camera. Please welcome the Leica M4-P! mrleica.com/2016/12/03/leica-m4-p/
