This is some messing about with After Effects CS4, I haven't quite nailed the camera movements here and this is my first try at a somewhat decent-ish typography reel.
Let me know what you think and also if you have any ideas on how to better navigate the camera view I would love to hear from you.
Still learning.........

This is my final thesis project. I created info-graphic, motion piece. My objective is to make Japanese people to think about that everything happening here in Japan, isn't that normal. So I created this video from foreigner's point of view, rather than Japanese people's point of view.
Both English and Japanese versions are available.
By the way, please don't call me racist, because I am one of short, small eyes Japanese.

日本で生活していると、当たり前すぎて気づかない「不思議な事実」を、海外で生活した経験も生かし、外国人の視点から統計とともに映像化しました。
笑いつつも、「なんか不思議だな」と考えてもらえれば幸いです。

At the moment of separation of the body from the brain, our ability to differentiate thought from prosthetic breaks down. Our body extends as far as our effect, far beyond our ability to see it happen. Both the threat and promise of virtualization is that its nature will have a form of dance more appropriate to us than what we now call "human."

In 2008 I had the pleasure to create a world wide marketing campaign that was featured world wide through TVC, Internet Marketing and branding and in Store installation. This is the final video work that was the main focus of all the installations.
Done using live action, Maya, 3d Studio Max, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
The Launch was for a new kind of soccer boot - Concave and the campaign was able to make it compete in the modern world dominated by Adidas , Nike, Puma and others.

I've been enrolled in illustration at Sheridan College for the the last 4 years and this is my final thesis project. I have always thought of Carl Sagan's writings as "scientific poetry" since they lack the cold touch that science is often cursed for having. I think Sagan's words resonate more than ever, and will continue with each generation until the human species "wakes up". The first time I heard this excerpt from his book "Pale Blue Dot" it literally changed my life, and I hope it does for you too. Enjoy.
