A short promotional video I created for Modern Christmas Trees, a wonderful company that makes gorgeous acrylic trees with a mid-century modern flair, based in Denver Colorado.
This video was commissioned to showcase the build and design of company's flagship offering, The Memory Tree, as well as the goodies that come with a purchase, and a visual instruction on how everything's put together.
These things are genuinely awesome, and the owner donates a percent of every sale to help Alzheimer's research in Colorado.
The primaries. It’s very well known that careful amounts of red, blue and green or yellow create unique colours. These particular blends present a pixel its identity. What follows next is a complicated process of manipulation, transportation and placement of a pixel within the grand image. Pixels as ideas - elements of a (mental) picture. Pieces lacking shape though of a greater thought. Evolved or chained, perhaps even discarded, but joined altogether flowing to spark creativity. What is the result? Itself or essence diluted in pixels - tinted ideas.

兩年前的交換經驗，讓他愛上台灣，如今又再次來到這塊土地。
「『Motion Design』在瑞士已經算是普遍的一種技能，
也有一定市場，但對他來說，在瑞士的高薪並不是最重要的，
重要的是─在熱愛的國度裡，做他最擅長與富有熱忱的事業。」
他是Arthur，一名motion designer，
在來到台灣的第一個月，拜訪數家共同工作空間後，
他毫不猶豫地選擇了卡市達。
我們不禁好奇地問他：「為什麼選擇這裡？」
他很篤定的告訴我們：
「這裡的氛圍、空間都很特別，尤其是人與人之間的連結。」
正因為遠從他鄉而來，在沒認識工作上足夠的朋友的情況下，
若要進行接案或是為期半年的實習工作都相對困難，
但在這裡，僅兩周的時間他就認識了來自紐西蘭的高階工程師、
認識來自哥倫比亞的互動設計師、來自美國的藝術家......
還有更多更多無可取代的朋友。
「假如我選擇在家裡工作，就絕對不可能遇到這些很棒的人。」
空間，如果沒有人，那就只是空間；
空間，由每一位很棒的夥伴共同創造，
那就會是世界獨一無二的地方了。
