It is impossible to imagine the capital of Russia without the Moskva River with beautiful embankments, magnificent monasteries and picturesque parks located on its banks.
A river in honor of a city or a city in honor of a river?
This issue is still being discussed today, but most historians are convinced that it was the river, not the city, that got its name first. One of the theories claims that the word "Moscow" itself is Finnish, and has nothing to do with Russian speech. Consequently, the river got its name during the habitation of Finnish tribes on its banks. "Mosk" in translation means "bear", and "wa" - "water". Another popular version - in the ancient Slavic name of the Mosva River means damp or marshy area.
People on the observation deck with a view of the business center «Moscow City»..The business center "Moscow-City" is one of the main modern attractions of the capital. This is an area with skyscrapers on the site of a former quarry near Presnenskaya Embankment. Previously, limestone was mined here, and now buildings of glass and concrete rise..Now there are 23 objects in the approved project, of which 13 buildings were erected. In 2018–2019, the construction of four more towers will be completed. The number of floors in buildings from 6 to 95. The total area of "Moscow-City" is almost 100 hectares.
Moscow aqueduct, rather only a fragment. This is the only surviving structure of the first in Moscow, and in Russia, gravity water pipeline - the Rostokinsky aqueduct. The bridge passes over the Yauza, is made of limestone, has 21 arched spans, up to 15 m high, 356 m long. Architects - engineer F.V. Bauer and Colonel I.K. Gerard.
The need for a water supply system in Moscow became especially acute after the plague of 1771, and in 1780, by decree of Catherine II, its construction began. Periodic indignations of the residents, through whose lands he passed, restless groundwater, ordinary Russian theft (the cost of water supply amounted to more than 1,600,000 rubles) delayed construction for 25 years. The year of birth of the Mytishchi water pipeline was 1804, and the largest stone bridge for that time, the Rostokinsky aqueduct, was built earlier, in 1783–1784.
The aqueduct ceased to be used for its intended purpose at the end of the 19th century.
In 2006-2008. The Rostokinsky aqueduct was freed from the heating main, put in order, restored, received a decorative roof and became a pedestrian. A pleasant park was laid out around it.

Moscow Tram is a tram system in Moscow. The grand opening took place on March 25, 1899. There are 45 routes that are serviced by five depots, combined into a single branch "Tram management". The length of the tracks is 418 km.
The Izmailovo Kremlin (Кремль в Измайлово) serves as an entertainment, commercial and cultural complex. It was built in 1998-2007 and locates in the northeast of Moscow. It is stylised in traditional Russian architecture and has several museums and exhibition grounds. Photo from our 2018 trip. The Church of St. Nicholas is in the foreground.
Kazan Cathedral Russian: Казанский собор, formally known as the "Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan", is a Russian Orthodox church located on the northeast corner of Red Square in Moscow, Russia. The current building is a reconstruction of the original church, which was destroyed at the direction of then General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin, in 1936.

It was the shoot before I started the Lightpainting. Nikolay was so kindly to show me this nice place for a Lightpainting shoot. My first impression was just: wow!
They are a lot of nice places for fotografiers in Moscow, but this view was for me one of the interesting, because this view is not so famos.
