The Morris Ten-Six Sports Special came with tuned high lift cam shaft and twin SU carburettors, to raise the power from 30 to 45 bhp. The cooling system was improved and the springing was revised to add stiffness.
Most chassis were fitted with Morris' own open sports bodies costing £230 but some were sold to coach builders.
CMU 267 is one of six known survivors fitted with the lightweight aluminium paneling on ash frame. Known as the International Tourer and produced by Cunard Coachworks of Acton, North London. Costing £249-10s when new. The cars are notable for their full set of instruments, sprung Brooklands steering wheel and centrally positioned accelerator pedal and high output lighting.

The Morris Ten is a medium-sized car introduced for 1933 as the company's offering in the important 10 hp sector of the British market. It continued through a series of variants until October 1948 when along with Morris's Twelve and Fourteen it was replaced by the 13.5 hp Morris Oxford.
This 1946 Morris Ten, EP 9268, is seen during a heritage event at Quorn station on 21st November 2021.
We took a boat to Morris Island to see this lighthouse.. Built in 1767 at the southern entrance to Charleston, the original tower was destroyed during the Civil War. The new tower, built in 1876, stands 161 ft. with 201 steps leading to its top. The beacon was extinguished in 1962. The red and white striped tower is visible from James Island as well as Folly Beach. The lighthouse is being restore, can't go inside...
About halfway between Denshaw and Delph, near the river, there is an appended Garage populated by a few vintage cars! We think the owner collects/restores them! I think this is a Morris Cowley but would welcome any comments!!
Anita and I traveled into West Virginia yesterday and decided to have lunch where we first saw this kitty in December of 2020 (see comment box below). We've nicknamed him Morris as we forgot to ask if he had a name. We saw that now he has a food dish up on the ledge to the left of where we saw him waiting at the take out window. He also had a nice igloo style house with bedding so he has definitely come up in world! Anita found him sleeping under an old delivery deck nearby. He was very friendly and I was able to pet him (he's very soft!). I suspect he may be a very old cat and it's wonderful of the woman who runs this small restaurant to take care of him like she does. This was in Brandywine West Va. Oh... and the food was pretty good too! LOL

The conservation area is just outside Ottawa. It was a good morning hike along the trails of Morris Island in the morning. The trails are already covered by snow but quite busy as more people started exploring the natural beatuties close to home.
Margaret Morris, another Chicago based Mana artist was super impressive to me. She had an emotionally charged set incorporating dance, music, and some spoken word about all of the complex layers of female identity and I wanted to say something to her after the set about how much I liked it but kind of chickened out and felt like the perspective of white people is all too often spoken as if it matters. And so, sometimes I'd just rather let others speak and dance and dream that the world could be fair to everyone.
In any case, I really enjoyed her work and more information about her can be found here:

Performance Automobiles dealership
Brought my vehicle into the dealership for an annual service and this photo opportunity was siting there waiting for me.
This Morris was beautifully restored, but not running. It has been in the owner's possession, since 1969 , when he purchased it for $16.00, unbelievably.
This little Fujifilm FinePix X100 is not a bad little "point-n-shoot" camera, at all. Menu is not very intuitive, but a patient photographer can overcome the lack of logic.
A gentle reminder about copyright and intellectual property-

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. It's not very often that you see an old Morris Minor these days. The shot wouldn't have worked for me without a 'human' element in the shot and some candid eye contact, even outside of the focus range, gave me the image that I was after. Enjoy!
