"Lac de Moron" 2016
This part of switzerland has been on my "to-do-list" for quiet some time...actually it's been on my list for a long long time. Why I didn't make it there, well, I don't really know. Think it's just because there have always been spots that were more important to me to visit. But since this spring, early summer was quiet busy I just made some short trips and so I decided to visit this place. Actually we planned to visit Saut du Doubs on this day but for some reason we didn't make it there so ended up at this location. And we had some real interesting conditions on that day.
Dieser Teil der Schweiz war eigentlich schon sehr lange auf meiner Wunschliste. Wieso ich es bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nie dorthin geschafft habe, weiss ich selber nicht genau. Denke es gab immer wieder Landschaften die mir wichtiger waren zu fotografieren als diese Gegend im Jura an der Grenze zu Frankreich. Doch endlich schaffte ich es vor wenigen Wochen diesen Ort zu besuchen. Nun, eigentlich wollten wir an diesem Tag die Doubs-Fälle besuchen, doch aus verschiedenen Gründen entschieden wir uns schlussendlich den Lac de Moron zu fotografieren. Ich muss auch sagen, wir hatten Glück und traffen sehr interessante Bedingungen an an diesem Tag.

In a common house, in Morón, I pictured this cactacea and some others. They are well taken care of and the climate helps.

At Moron railway works (yes, that really is the name). A former German railcar and some Budd railcars. Actually these are quite possibly loco hauled now rather than being self-propelled.
If you can neatly set your empty beer can next to the rocks you can walk the extra 30 feet to get it into the garbage can!

Il complesso Moroni - sede del Comune di Padova - sorge proprio di fronte alla sede universitaria di Palazzo Bo. E' costituito dall'accorpamento, in epoche successive, di diversi palazzi.
Uno di questi è l'ex Palazzo del Podestà; edificato dall'architetto Andrea Moroni a partire dal 1541, contiene al primo piano un cortile pensile raggiungibile da due scale simmetriche con ingresso a edicola. Il quadriportico a tre arcate in pietra presenta colonne doriche a tutto tondo incassate nei pilastri.
