London was VERY wet yesterday morning.

Clematis lovely in all its forms.

A south bound MOP train has TP&W #20 waiting to clear the diamonds at Watseka, IL

I made this a bit ago, but it wasn't working out the way I wanted so I just put it in a drawer. My kiddo spied it recently and asked to wear it. It's perfect kid jewelry.

The Perturbed Sanctum

I found this plant at Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town, South Africa.

It looks like a Cyperus (papyrus) species to me, but I'm not sure.

Anybody know?

If you should ever be in Cape Town, the gardens are well worth a visit. One of those paradise places for photographers. ;-)

Adamson's process calotype, 4x5, Tachihara, Kodak Ektar 152mm

Cold weather means calotypes last longer between coating and developing. This is Adamson's process, which worked well until it got hot out, when I had to switch to a preserved (Pelegry) process. This was sensitized by floating on a thin skim of dilute aceto-nitrate of silver.

Mexico City 2037

After defeating the enemy Aku Partnership and Mexican Drug Cartel soldiers, NATO forces walk through the torn up streets with a tank rolling behind them looking for any stragglers of the enemies.

Was mopping the floor and someone refused to move

The signalmans mop hangs from the box veranda as 170 109 approaches with 1N53 Stanstead Airport to Birmingham. The 170 is passing, the marooned, Southern Region brakevan DS55945. Some research on the van revealed it is a" 'Pill Box' type brake van and an early example as well (in fact the third one built) with the duckett offset to the left and is at least 80 years old (later examples have the duckett on the right)". It has stood on the former down goods loop for at least 20 years and looks to be going nowhere any time soon.

Mopping up operation.

Quick action by Fire & Rescue NSW Station 248 Camden prevented a fire from reaching its full potential in Spring Farm on 12/11/2019 Tuesday afternoon.

Severe damage was caused to a wooden fence line that borders the Spring Farm park land and Camden Bypass.

A nearby house whilst was threatened by fire escaped damage due entirely to the swift actions of fire fighters.

In the mopping up stages of the operation a fire fighter sprays water on the fires remnants.

Grömitz

Ostsee

As Portland settles down, Warsaw Pact, EU, and US troops find themselves in back-alley struggles for survival. A WP heavy trooper ambushes a couple of US troops on a side street.

Re-uploaded with new lighting. It would be quite difficult to reproduce. So even though the build is sub-par, enjoy the lighting. ;) I am scrapping this scene and starting on a new one, but I put time into this, so I figured I'd upload it. Also, this is unedited.

Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland. Some seriously unhappy eye contact here which, together with his posture and the mop, just makes me chuckle - such a strange combination. It's FRIDAY! Have a great weekend everyone.

If I had a head of hair like this, would be wearing shades and playing drums all day.
