wondering, why EXIF shows only 220 mm, when I had fully open 600 ? ...
The strawberry moon occurs once every 70 years. Typically i forgot all about it and went to bed, woke with a start at about 4 am and remembered. Fortunately the moon was still visible
Last nights party ended up in me laying on the ground
Under the moon
Oh my
What did this sound like, lol
Well, I was shooting the moon
which is also your moon
Venus was just nearby
glowing so nicely, like the best companion ever
I used my natural tripod, my hand, tried not to either shake or breathe, but I always shake a bit.
I had soo much fun
How is it even possible, lol
Cool to know that I captured my moon, which is our moon, so we are kind of combined.
Combined in what we observe, what we see, our energy, love and feelings.
How cool isn't that.
Have a glorious Tuesday you guys !

Salía la luna, el 26 de julio; apenas tuve tiempo de coger la cámara para captar su propuesta de jugar con la tierra, aunque sólo fuera por unos segundos.
The "Super Moon" will be full tomorrow night and will be closer to earth than any time since 1948. As the forecast for tomorrow is not great, here is what an almost full moon looks like tonight. It won't come this close again until 25 November 2035.
Tonight's 'Supermoon' (29/08/2015) is the first of three spectacular lunar shows this year
That means the moon is very full and bright in the sky, because it has come very close to earth.
Tonight's full moon is just 222,631 miles from earth - one of the closest approaches of the year.

A large crop even with my teleconverters stacked on my 300mm lens, looks pretty amazing tonight though.
Taken with a Canon 70D DSLR and Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG telephoto lens. I love the earthshine phenomenon you see in this photo. It's caused by the light of the sun reflecting off the Earth and onto the face of the moon.

Moon rise over the Atlantic Ocean. The colors there near the horizon were great with the mix of moon and clouds.

The super moon over Bedford, Nova Scotia looks much like the super moon over many other places. still no less facinating.
When the moon comes up
the bells are silent
and the paths seem
impenetrable.
When the moon comes up
the sea covers the earth
and the heart becomes
island in the infinite.

Unfortunately, even this great moon does not get the tide in this lake, because there is very little water .....
My single image and texture with the addition of the great moon in public domain
Thanks for your recent visits, favorites, comments and invitations. I go slow, but everything is very much appreciated, as always....
