The Moog Sub Phatty is a monophonic (1-voice) analog synthesizer capable of some pretty fat, sub sounds. Has a 25-key keyboard and 31 knobs for shaping the overall sound. The big knob in the model controls the low-pass filter, which gives most Moog synthesizers their famous signature sound.

Keys press down! Unfortunately they don't bounce back up but maybe a tiny spring can be added under them.

Oh thank god, somebody's finally invented it! Thanks Adobe, now can you invent the full-body version? Perhaps with a detachable cape?

A portrait of Robert Moog painted by Dustin Spagnola, and a creative sofa replica of Moog synthesizer in the lobby of the Moogseum in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Robert Arthur Moog (May 23, 1934 – August 21, 2005) was an American engineer and electronic music pioneer. He was the founder of the synthesizer manufacturer Moog Music and the inventor of the first commercial synthesizer, the Moog synthesizer, which debuted in 1964. In 1970, Moog released a more portable model, the Minimoog, described as the most famous and influential synthesizer in history. Among Moog's honors are a Technical Grammy Award, received in 2002, and an induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. The company headquarters are in Asheville.

Forgot I had this. From our Sept trip to Chicago. Just walking along towards Navy Pier, and saw this on a wall. No context of any sort.

I saw this MOC of a Lego Moog first on the Music Radar website and was so impressed by it, that I planned to build my own. But after studying all the photos I found in the internet I soon recognised that I wouldn’t manage to build it with the full functionality (working keyboard, pitch- and modulation wheels and controller knobs) like the one built by the Arvo brothers. So, my mod is simply a display piece.

You can find the original of the Arvo brothers here:

Making of Gayna (ornament)/Naksha (designed) Bori (Sundried lentil paste) is a traditional practice of Midnapore Districts, in the Indian state of West Bengal. Such fried ornamental bori with rice, Moog dal (a special variety of scented lentil), lemon, and homemade curd in an earthen pot, are always a delicacy in our traditional Bengali cuisine.

The two handmade fans are made from dried palm leaves painted in raw vegetable colors, are traditional folk art of Bengal, practised in a few districts of West Bengal. These are used as hand fanning devices in hot summer days. We the Bengali people are traditionally used to eat on banana leaves or lotus leaves, on special occasions. They were essentially missing in the presentation, for unavailability in lockdown period.

Nothing could have been a simpler and delicate way to enjoy a Sunday in the time of lockdown.
