There are two women in their boat ...stuck in the mud.
One women has found a stick in the water and is trying to free the boat. :-)))

One from last year which I decided to reprocess using the age old Capture NX2 which I must say I'm very impressed with.
Late morning light through the clouds over Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. Extended the shutter here to smooth out the water and the clouds to give a dreamy view of this pretty location.

As I had not managed to capture any decent reflections at sunset recently and as there was 10-15mph winds yesterday evening I decide to try a new more protected location and went to Birdham Pool Marina, West Sussex.
A lot of cloud and not a lot of colour in the sky but I managed to capture some decent reflections which resulted I feel in quite a moody image!
6 seconds exposure using a Lee 0.6 ND grad filter.

Moody Blues, another shot from yesterday at the Duke of Portland boathouse on Ullswater. This shot was made about an hour before the previous upload, less mist and a bit more darkness. I tried something a little different with this shot, desaturated the boathouse, did a little toning work and added selective contrasting.I don't always like my images, but i like this one.
