The Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet (Lake of Monteynard-Avignonet) is an artificial water reservoir for the Électricité de France (EDF) power station on the river Drac. It belongs to the department of Isère. It is bounded by the canyons of the Drac and Ebron.
The lake was created in 1961, when the 145-metre-high dam was built. The lake is 10 kilometres long; in some places it is up to 300 metres wide.

Le fort de Comboire, ou fort Monteynard, est une fortification faisant partie de la place forte de Grenoble, situé au sud-ouest dans la commune de Claix dans le département de l'Isère, au sommet des rochers de Comboire, adossé au massif du Vercors.
Cet ouvrage datant du xixe siècle fait l'objet d'une restauration par une association locale dénommée « Les amis du fort de Comboire », celle-ci ayant pour objet de participer à la maintenance du fort et pour projet d'y créer un espace d'exposition et d'animation.
The fort of Comboire, or fort Monteynard, is a fortification forming part of the stronghold of Grenoble, located to the south-west in the commune of Claix in the department of Isère, at the top of the rocks of Comboire, leaning against the massif of Vercors.
This work dating from the 19th century is being restored by a local association called "Les amis du fort de Comboire", the purpose of which is to participate in the maintenance of the fort and to create a space there. exhibition and entertainment.
