I found this one difficult. Was at the coast 10 days ago and had lots of shimmering sea but couldn't use them so this is my best effort with oil and water in a bowl over a muticoloured velvet skirt.
Inspirées de grands peintres surréalistes comme Magritte, Dali ou Rob Gonzalves, mais aussi par des auteurs de livres pour enfants tels que Sven Nordqvist et Elsa Beskow, ses créations formées de nombreuses photos assemblées (jusqu’à la centaine de photos recomposées) donnent naissance à des images en apesanteur, qui racontent des histoires aux grands enfants que nous sommes.

Toutes les photos ont été faites avec un modeste Samsung.
Merci à celui ci que j'ai épuisé, fini avec du Scotch pour son étanchéité ...
et qui m'a offert une "ouverture" au monde ! ...

Beach access from the Montage.
Lots of photographer's here during daylight hours, but at night, it's all mine. :)
Just started editing some images and thought...what if...and then....I'll add that and that...and hey presto! Must have been in creative mode eh? I think there are 4 images and about 5 textures in total.
For this montage, I've drawn a figure wearing woven textiles and recognisable elements including a brimmed hat. The site is in the north of Spain. Simple and functional clothing elements may have deeper chronologies than we imagine, with this depiction targeting the chalcolithic bridge period around the start of the bronze age and perhaps the hat featured is in a fine woven 'straw'. The viewer may prefer to visualise other details: skin tint, partial nudity and ornaments and I have made no attempt to be 'realistic', simply to set a scene.
The water heats up in a shallow pool before being transferred into a deeper pool for actions such as softening lengths for weaving. Evaporation will be reduced once in the deeper pool.
The figure has a pole with a rectangle of leather for directing and agitating the water. The red pigment is based on garance and fabrics are fine but heavy when compared with todays threads.
Visitors who have walked up the Ebro valley may greet their feet, acorns may soak to loose their bitter taste prior to grinding into flour, perfumes may be reduced and weaves dyed naturally. Heated river stones may be engaged if the sun is low.

For Mosaic Montage Monday are these lovely horses. A montage of horse, duplicated, with palm trees and sparkles desaturated with a beige paper texture. (Thanks to Kerstin Frank). HMMM
i made this for an exhibition it is 3.5 meters wide (about 15 feet) and is made of 172 photographic prints all stuck down with spray mount. i did not use any special software just photoshop to plan it out which took 3 days and then 4 days of spray mounting

A montage of all 188 species of birds that got in the way of my camera during the year - with a few bonus pics thrown in to fill out the contact sheet. Some good shots, some not so good, but all of them fun, even the frustrating ones. (2024 Goal - 225 bid species)
